Would you rather Maye and pick 34 or whoever that becomes? Or JJ and Brian Thomas Jr, 34 and next years first from Vikings?
I’m worried the Bills take Adonai Mitchell. He just has to last one more pick and hopefully we can get him. I think McConkey would be a good 2nd choice if that happens
We are in a really solid spot right now. We can take Ladd or Ad, Dejean, or trade the pick and maybe get 2 seconds for someone who wants a guy that fell, then take Kingsley and a wr.
Wouldn’t also mind trading next years 2nd and something else to try to double dip in the 2nd. It’s not like that 2nd is going to be much if anything lower than what ours is this year so even if we suck it’s no loss
I wonder if we go Cooper Dejean. Seems versatile and would help round out our secondary. Definitely more value remaining on the defensive side of the ball right now overall.
Really pretty pissed with how the draft ended last night. The run on OTs early-mid round was acceptable because we still need receivers, but then the WRs started flying off the board late. It puts us in a really bad spot imo. I was super high on Legette and was just praying he made it to 34, I think we are going to look back in pain on him going to the Panthers in a few years.
That being said, the Bills are 100% taking AD Mitchell. I’m not in love with Ladd, I think he will be a great player but not a dynamic “transform your offense” type. At this point I could almost defend them just taking BPA with Cooper DeJean, at least then our CB situation will be locked down for years to come.
If the Bills do take AD, I pray the 9ers give in to a 34 for Aiyuk trade. That’s the only way we fix the receiving corps this year imo. We obviously need a tackle also and Kingsley is still on the board but he just feels like a reach at 34. Wouldn’t be surprised if we trade back and take him a few spots later.
But man why couldn’t Legette just fall 2 more picks….
Please AD Mitchell or trade back and then take Kingsley
Truth be told I don’t like us picking Drake Maye. He has the physical gifts, but the chances of him becoming Josh Allen 2.0 are fairly low, the chances of him becoming Brock Oswieler 2.0 are pretty high. We should have grabbed MHJ, who is as sure of a thing as there is in the NFL draft. I hope I’m wrong, but I have a bad feeling. The situation isn’t right, also he better not play this season, he needs a year holding the clipboard. I don’t wanna hear it in week 8 or 9 about him playing, I want a proper development for this guy. That said I don’t think he will be good, his college numbers are pretty weak, especially for a guy playing in the ACC, his decision making is relatively poor, yeah he can throw, but being a QB is much more than throwing. What made Brady great was his pocket awareness, ability to read a defense, and knowledge of when to thrown the ball away. Not being a super athlete with elite arm strength. Again hopefully I’m wrong, but I’m not happy with this pick.
Picking a receiver in the second round if the possibility of trading 34 for Aiyuk exists gives me serious, “It could be anything, even a boat!” vibes.
I can’t wait for today’s picks
Did the Patriots’ Instagram account *really* have to make **13** posts about Drake Maye being drafted in the 2 hours after he was selected? Just one post is enough! I woke up this morning and there were more IG posts from the Pats at the top of my feed! Yeah, I already know…
It’s probably crazy but what if it doesn’t require a 2nd round pick for Aiyuk? Maybe it’s just smoke and he’s only worth a 3rd with some late round picks.
So happy with the pick!!! Of course with any QB there’s a decent chance they work out, but at least with him he has the physical tools to be an elite quarterback.
I understand that WR is the sexy pick, but we don’t have a LT and there’s realistically only one good one left in Kingsley. We have to go Kingsley at 34.
A lot of WR needy teams have gone WR already, and the run on OTs forces our hand. There will be a lot of defense picks this round, which should leave us with several WR options in the third.
Maye’s teammate, Walker, would be a good speed and size combo. He’s not a great route guy but the familiarity will help Maye develop. Give him a year to develop routes with Maye on the 2nd team and next year watch the combo shine.
NC fan here. I’m so glad Maye got picked to the pats instead of a perennial loser franchise like the Commies. Y’all got a fucking dog ahead of you
The Falcons just pulled off the 28-3 of drafts
Take a lineman next. Try for a servicable WR. Gonna need a kicker at some point too.
Please take a OTlike Kingsley suamataia. We need a tackle
We’re getting a really good WR or OT here. It’s going to be a good feeling having at least 2/3 of our pressing needs filled after tonight.
I’m already seeing so many “get Maye help” comments everywhere.
Hes sitting this year. We’re getting another top 8 pick. We’ll get himna stud WR next year.
Rd 2 ans 3 this year will be QR and OT, ext year will be continued focus in OT and WR. It’s a rebuild. Everyone relax. Trust the 2 – 3 year process
Welcome Drake :)!
Hey, guys! Which players should we be looking at our pick today?
