I got to be on tv tonight

Detroit area 49er fan, I got to live my dream of being the disappointed fan reaction the live feed cuts to. 25 years of watching the draft has led to this moment, I’ve never been so happy to be so disappointed. Shoulda been Cooper, Adonai or Kool-Aid but I hope I’m
proven wrong

  1. No shame. You were all of us in the moment who were expecting DeJean or Kool Aid. Let’s hope we’re all wrong in a year

  2. You were all of us in the moment. It’s been an hour now and I don’t feel that annoyed now as a lot of ballers are talking up his game, cj stroud and aiyuk. Still feels like we could’ve addressed needs but I guess our front office is a the bpa where we must draft one wr and one rb every year.

  3. Thank you for coming clean. If this dude pans out, you’re gonna be a consistent meme on this sub.

  4. You’re gonna get memed up pretty good for the rest of the week at least lol. I think your reaction represented most of us pretty well in the moment.

  5. Man, I love the potential of Adonai – nobody with his size/speed combo moves as fluidly as he does – but our fan base is waaaaay too sure about him. He has as many red flags as any other receiver prospect in the class.

  6. Didn’t look as bad as the cheese head who obviously didn’t like his teams pick and the Detroit fans razzed him as he buried his face.

  7. I think it should be known that you’re not booing the kid. Ricky might ended up to be great with us. It’s moreso the position that we didn’t need. O-line, secondary and d-line are our biggest needs. We needed someone to be picked for those positions and that’s why we boo for now

  8. To be honest, I felt the same way as you when we made that pick. I wanted an OT or O-lineman, too. But it could be a blessing in disguise. Being a 49er faithful is torture. But we all have ways of dealing with the pain. For me, it’s video games, anime and candy.

Hang tough, man. We’ll be okay. I just need to stop panicking when I’m on Reddit.
