I love this pick! He’s a doggg! Let Bill cook πŸ§‘β€πŸ³πŸ³πŸ₯˜πŸ₯ž

I love this pick for us straight power! Part of me thinks we could have traded down and still got him. But nevertheless we got our selves a dude! Bill will clean up most of the concerns and hopefully he works at LT!

  1. I did love how hyped he was, although he nearly snapped goodell in half 🀣

  2. Anybody that doesn’t like this pick but wanted Nabers needs to hop back on their SEC bias bus, and remember:

    (1) This guy has spent the last couple of years blocking Dallas Turner and division rival will anderson everyday in practice; and

    (2) This guy was originally a LT. Alabama moved him to right tackle to get their best five on the field, and he was willing to make the move to help his team

  3. Don’t let the doomers get to you. JC is a dawg and it seems everyone knows that except for the Joe Alt fanboys on this sub.

  4. I wasn’t too excited at first but after seeing all the stuff about how much the staff loved him and how much passion it seems he has, I’m on board. Cally saying that he was their favorite player in the draft makes me think that there was a non-0% chance we scooped him even if alt was still on the board. I just hope he’s LT but I trust Bill. Sounds like the trade-back offers weren’t good enough to warrant risking him going to NYJ or whoever else. They got the they wanted so I’m w it

  5. Don’t understand how anyone could be mad about this pick. We got the most athletic OT in the draft. And he was Bill Callahan’s #1 OT prospect. Trust the process

  6. Best LT in the draft when it’s all said and done, just wait and see! I can’t wait to bring back that draft thread and call out the fucking cry babies. we had a great night and now tonight hopefully we get another stud

  7. Can’t wait to watch him get to the second level and put Al-Shaair on his ass lol

  8. I’m optimistic about it. Either way we didn’t have a right or left tackle, and if the dude can play either it’s not a total waste. And if they liked him better than Fashanu, I just have to trust them on that.

I definitely don’t love the pick, but like most people I’m relying on media reports/ranks of recruits. Whoever I was listening to on the radio this morning said it best though, it’s another question mark pick. We didn’t just take a guy who does a thing we need well. We took a guy who did a different thing in college, and we’re hoping he can adjust to to doing something different.
