  1. …and the best part is how close to vest this front office and org is now. Nobody knew differently until after, I LOVE IT!

  2. As someone who preferred Maye, I’m all for getting on board with the pick and supporting the kid.

That being said, this isn’t a great look. Peters does the kid a solid by giving him good intel to go back to school (and from a 5th rounder to 2nd overall!) and the way he repays him is being so miffed by the process?

And having to be consoled by the coaches and the owner because he didn’t like their process? I’m sorry, but that’s diva behavior. If he’s going to be successful in the league, he’s going to need some thicker skin. I think most of this is just his dumb ass agent (and maybe his mother) getting in his ear, but he needs to sort that stuff out.

  3. Tbh I read this as Daniels wasn’t sure that Peters was a fan of his. Peters tried to show indirectly that he was their guy by personally picking him up with DQ.

Jayden probably felt good about that, but then was confused at the group top golf visit.

I did hear the reason for it was that was the only time Harris was available to meet so they brought in all the QBs. I do think Harris owning the Sixers played into this…it’s a different sport and the stars have all the leverage but I think he feels burned by the Harden drama and doesn’t want his $6B franchise to be set back.

All good, I think everyone in the building is convinced JD is the guy.
