Figured I’d share this here. Seems like Slay is totally gonna embrace mentoring Mitchell. Love to see it. Slay’s a hell of a teammate and a class act.
This tweet is in response to somebody asking Slay if Mitchell is coming for his job.
Slay is a great captain and leader. He’s been like this for Ricks, Jobe, all the young corners he’s talking up and coaching. Literally for like 3 years now. He has multiple soundbites talking up and rooting for the young bucks. Just who the dude is.
Slay is easily one of my favorite all time eagles. Dawkins will never be surpassed for me. But slay is an incredible teammate and person and he shows it time and time again. And he is one hell of a great CB to boot
What an absolute perfect answer from Slay. If that doesn’t make you happy Slay is on our team, then IDK what will. Love to hear him wanting to teach the young eaglet.
Slay dealt with Patricia in a devastating tenure with the Lions. Got a chance with the Eagles, and had to deal with Patricia again.
Yet he still is the most positive guy on our team. Always looking to get better and teach the young guys. Couldn’t ask for a better vet in our secondary.
