We went to Mississippi State’s INSANE ballpark & facility!! (Top environment in college baseball??)
what’s up y’all we’re out here in
Starkville Mississippi checking out
Mississippi state’s Duty Noble field
also known as the dude we’ll also be
checking out their awesome baseball
facilities and of course we’re sticking
around for some SEC baseball let’s check
it

out SEC baseball is like no other let’s
go y let’s go speed speed speed this
place erupts the dude effect it’s real
but you have to be here and be in it to
experience it for sure

what’s up guys gav black right-handed
pitcher Mississippi State and I’m going
to be showing you guys around dude and
Noble field so let’s get it

right when you walk in this is a players
entrance um so we got the famous Stark
Vegas sign just a couple uniform
combinations that we wear with you know
a couple different cleats bag and gloves
moving over this way we got a uh the
biggest attendance record that we have
here we actually hold one through 10 in
attendance record so it’s pretty special
place here as you can see picture of the
biggest game that we’ve had and then
just a couple couple different things on
the wall College World Series
appearances tournaments that we’ve been
in uh SEC championships draft pics it’s
a place to be trust me 883 Mi to Omaha
so you’ll see that kind of around here
so that’s that’s a goal but then now we
got the Omaha room so this is the Omaha
room this is where we do our daily
meetings uh scouting reports meetings
with Coach Lim come here and watch video
um and then last night like we did a
team like team only players thing where
we came in and did uh we watched the
documentary from the 21 2021 team um
just kind of get the guys going for this
weekend Series so it’ll be it’ll be fun
but this Oma
room so now we’re in the Palo Center
donated by Rafael Palo this is our
indoor facility uh so when it rains uh
when we need to just do anything we need
to separate like the pitchers hitters on
this side we got two full bat and cages
then we have a drop down net in the
middle it separates the field and the
bat and cages so you can do all the work
you need to on this side while other
guys still hit BP live over there pretty
sweet to have something this big no
matter what the conditions are outside
we always have somewhere to
practice this is a weight room uh
baseball only weight room this is where
we get after it as you can see one of
the nicest wave rooms we’ll probably see
anywhere in the country uh we’re in here
about two times a week during season um
that’s both position and pitchers and
then during the offseason in here four
days a week really pushing the weight
getting stronger and and then as we move
into the ncas and stuff we’re getting
you know just kind of maintaining the
the weight we put on um and the

strength these are all the bats big
leager debut bats um so everybody who’s
debuted made their debut has their bat
on the wall it’s kind of the the end of
it so we got more to add on to and then
going all the way
down so now moving into the Mish Morland
uh hidden tunnel this is really nice
just because like guys are able to come
in here during game so like say we’re
putting in a pinch hitter guy can run in
here Straight From The Dugout cuz it’s
just right there get some swings in and
then be ready to go but guys are also
coming here just take swings at night
you know everything’s already out
automatic pitching machine so they can
come in here by themselves put the balls
in turn it on and just swing away as
long as they as long as they
want now we’re moving into the uh
Players
Lounge uh as you can see a lot of naps
get taken in here on the couches a lot
of pool gets played ping pong just got
added we got the new arcade game and the
new golf simulator the golden tea play
the show that’s honestly it cuz guys
yeah usually guys are on the ping pong
table getting after it so they like the
they like to be a little bit more
competitive so now we’re moving into the
uh Team locker room probably the best
locker room you’ll see one of the best
in college baseball for
sure yeah it’s pretty pretty sweet
pretty special place nice nice place to
come in every day and hang out with with
your teammates for sure as you can see I
have one of the cleaner lockers on the
team hey guys do what they do they show
up to the parking place so that’s all
that matters so these are the new custom
cleats that we walked into yesterday uh
sweet little gift that we just got these
Dakota Jordan’s cleats number 42 pretty
special wear these
Saturday so moving in right off the
players Rock Room we have our nutrition
room we get our midday snacks like just
anything we need kind of stay fueled up
for the day and then moving over here we
have basically all of our protein shakes
and our recovery stuff so this is where
guys spend a lot of time that’s where
guys get their post game shakes post
lift shakes stuff like that and then you
have the blenders all the protein that
you need the powders to make your own
Shake if you want to do that instead of
drinking one of the

pre-mades right off the locker room
again we’re into the training room uh
this is doc’s office all the tables you
can Poss we need so guys come in here
get our treatment come over this way we
not only have our training tables doc’s
office uh we have cold and hot tub here
um so allows guys to do contrast every
day anytime they want which is really
really nice to have so now we’re moving
on to our mud room and our Dugout tunnel
basically where everybody keeps all
their stuff uh cleats bats gloves
practice stuff everything you need that
way we don’t stin of the locker room we
have a separate place for that this is
the tunnel to the field road to Omaha
starts here saying as you walk out this
is where this is where we get after
right here this where this is where turn
on the switch it’s go

time now we’re in the best place in
college baseball due to Noble field baby
doesn’t get much better than this yeah
so people will be up there during games
people be on their balconies during
games the left field Lou is popping
during games right field to it’s crazy
man they play the uh Lion King song and
right when we get on second BP they play
it and then the gates open and people
like literally Sprint like Sprint

in it’s
crazy this is our pitching lab kind of
where we and myself do all of our work
um we’re in here every day practice
whenever we want to come in here we we
can get access we have three Mounds two
normal mounds of force plate Mound we
have cameras all the way around us
capturing every Movement we need if we
need to use them two trackman so we
throw all of our indoor bull pins in
here we got a mound in front of a mirror
over there for work a mound down there
for work so that’s a total of five
mounds and then plus our two down in the
bullpen seven Mounds right there so we
can get seven guys throwing a once if we
really had to this place is second to n

baby one of the big reasons we came here
to Mississippi state was to check out
their rigs but what is a rig let’s find
out rig box style lounges surrounding
the entire Outfield complete with
electricity and room for your own chairs
grills coolers and all of your other
game day Essentials and we wanted to go
out and talk to some fans about their
experiences out there back in the 70s
they open this fence up and people would
bring back $250 parking deal bring your
rigs out here and park okay it went on
up until about 6 7 8 9 years ago and
then they said we’re going to build this
new $75 million Stadium we’re going to
make these permanent you can watch the
game anywhere walking around this at all
times you don’t need a SE I I will tell
you this we are probably the only place
in the country who has cooked ostrich
ostrich kangaroo water buffalo camel
camel alligator we had a butt coming in
and we had a home run ball land in the
middle of our butt and imp planted
because the grill was open it pretty
cool

it’s something special someone bangs a
ball at the wall someone homers like a
punch out it’s like this place erupts
the dude effect it it’s real but you
have to be here and be in it to
experience it for sure

you can see the numbers you can hear the
attendance you can all that but until
you experience like an old Miss weekend
when there’s 177,000 people here and it
takes 45 minutes to walk 20 yards to go
to the bathroom it’s intense I mean how
how many college campuses have condos in
in the left field over there and plans
to expand and build more you just don’t
find that in Oxford or Georgia or
anywhere else

we support our kids out here they’re
more than just a number on the field we
take care of them we love those kids uh
and we want them to succeed on and off
the field and and it’s just a terrific
place like I said there’s no other place
in America like Stark Vegas SEC baseball
is like no other if you come to dudy
Noble there’s no experience come to
Mississippi it’s a bucket list thing
if you’re ever here you come to
rightfield start Vegas we serve you free
drinks we give you free food we give it
to the parents of the opposing teams and
after each game you’ll see all the food
we have left we give it to the vising
team take it back to the hotel enjoy we
may give them hell dur in the game but
we’ll love on you after we’ll love on
you after
College baseball programs have some of the best facilities, ballparks, and gameday environments in sports, so we decided to go check out one of the top tier ones in Mississippi State We will be hitting a bunch of these this year to show off the amazing college game.
To start out, @hailstate pitcher Gavin Black gives us a tour of the Bulldogs’ awesome facility. Then, we experience a gameday in Starksville, with some of Miss. St.’s most dedicated fans showing us how it’s done in the outfield of Dudy Noble Field aka “The Dude”!
