Is this really the optic lens people are analyzing this through???

I usually really enjoy Nate Geary, but this is the dumbest shit I’ve read all day.

  1. NFL fans when they discover that not every team has the same player rankings. Braindead stuff, as is to be expected from Nate Geary

  2. Because KC has such a sterling record of WR scouting.. Hill is the outlier. Rice might be decent. But Jehu Chesson, Tremon Smith, Mecole Hardman, Cornell Powell & Skyy Moore aren’t exactly an inspiring list.

  3. No idea why you’d read anything Nate Geary writes.

Same guy was trying to join the Dolphins bandwagon last year after the Bills had some losses.

  4. Yea pretty asinine take

Setting aside how I thought KC reached:

KC needed explosiveness and a bit of x factor as they already have Kelce, with Hill and maybe Rice

We need to replace the metric boatload of targets that left the team in Diggs and Davis

McConkey is a more versatile, all 3 positions all 3 downs player than a schematic cherry on top in Worthy

  5. There’s an alternative universe where the Bills stay at 28 and select Xavier Worthy, then the Chiefs take AD Mitchell at pick 32 and Nate Geary gets all worked up about the Bills taking the wrong Texas WR. Probably complaining about his size, how Worthy’s speed will be negated by the snow in Buffalo in playoff games, how he isn’t a fit in an offense with Samuel & Shakir without a true big body X WR.

It’s extremely bizarre to me that people are upset with the Bills for trading back with the Chiefs, it’s as if they want the Bills to operate in fear of the Chiefs every move, and that we’re fools for not having the chiefs live rent free in our head. Lol Beane’s job is to field the best possible roster he can for the Bills – I wish he could’ve squeezed just a tad bit more extra value out of those trades, but at the end of the day he still did what he had to do to make up for the fact that the league absolutely screwed us out of our 3rd round comp pick. Let’s just hope that both Xavier’s turn out to be duds and then we can walk away with like McConkey & Polk and they each turn out to be much better than the Xavier’s.

  6. Except Beane said in his presser last ngiht that he didn’t know who the Cheifs were taking (outside of possibly a WR). If he had worthy ranked close to AD Mitchell, Legette, etc and felt confident he could get one at 32, then it’s a no brainer. Do what you can to get your guy and help the team along the way. Those middle round picks have proven the past few year to be relevant.

Lots of good WR’s still available, including AD Mitchell. I’m sure that’s why he chose to move down again.

  7. KC was basically afraid we’d trade the pic to someone else who would jump them for Worthy.

  8. It’s Geary, he’s known for being 1. Overreactive ( he was at the heart of the JA’s UCL injury was going to make him miss all season rumors a couple years back 2. Being wildy wrong with his draft and player takes

  9. I honestly don’t thing that Worthy would have been a great fit in Buffalo they need a big physical player. Worthy will most likely really good in KC but not what Buffalo needs

  10. If we’re drafting guys so other teams can’t take them and not with the sole intent to make the team better then fire everyone

  11. Losing to Chiefs has really caused some trauma – this anger will subside…
… although I still hate the Cowboys from the Super Bowl losses of my childhood so maybe not.

  12. More like “if the Chiefs wanted him, he’ll likely be arrested at some point in the next few years.”

  13. Geary has more opinions than brain cells, and he likes to make sure everybody knows what stupid things he thinks. Can’t stand his constant bitching.

  14. If I wanted Buffalo to be like the Chiefs I would just be a fan of the Chiefs. Fuck the Chiefs. Let’s go Buffalo!

  15. Nate has awful takes. Our teams are different. Our coaching is different. Schemes matter. KC likes lots of quick little guys to throw short passes to. Bills offense has never schemed like them.

  16. such an absolutely terrible take. Teams have different needs, within WR rooms teams have different need! We have the smaller burner guy. Curtis Samuels. We don’t need another, we need an outside possession receiver.

Also, the chiefs arent this bastion of WR talent. They have Tyreek and a bunch of JAGs in their receint history.
