Legit feel bad for them. We know what it’s like.
I actually kinda hate that for them. Having one of the best years in recent memory with so much to play for, and having one of your best players done for the playoffs and possibly having it derail your run. Just sucks for the sport, man.
Hate to see anybody go down with injury (well, almost anybody, I’ll keep the names to myself), but the predators must take full advantage of this.

VAN should have done what I do when I play NHL24 in BEaGM Mode. I just turn injuries off so my stud goalie is always available for the playoffs.

Hopefully Demko can recover. It sucks that he can’t play in playoffs right now after all the work he’s put in. Preds still have a tough battle and need to be ready. DeSmith isn’t a bad goalie.

I really hate that for both Vancouver and Nashville. Vancouver has incredible talent this year. I’d hate for their run to be derailed by injury. I hate it for Nashville as I don’t want an “asterisk” next to the season and comments of “you only got there because…” I think there’s a pride of wanting to have both teams at their best and let the chips fall where they may. My $0.02.
Sounds like us when Juice got hurt a week before the playoffs. Just fucking deflated our hopes and dreams in one massive sucker punch.
Hoping for a legit recovery for the guy so he can come back strong next year. DeSmith is a capable goaltender though, we’ll still have to play hard to come out on top of this series.
