3. My guess is they saw he had a serious injury and they may have been able to recover a scholarship by “medically retiring” him.

Just heard an interview with him and JMV (who is an utter moron and definitely should not be the guy doing this interview, but I digress) and he sounds so excited and genuinely excited about being with the colts. Oddly, it was revealed that he’s been working out with Kwity Pay (sp?). Also mentioned Zaire came over to welcome him to the horseshoe & introduce himself as a mentor. I’m stoked.

9. Isn’t this the almost exactly the same injury that Vander Esch was just medically retired from the NFL for after 6 seasons while only playing more than 14 games twice?
