It’s funny because we were pissed In the game thread when that happened. For like five minutes. Then we moved on.
Oubre straight smiling like “*record scratch* *freeze frame* Yep, that’s me. You’re probably wondering how I ended up in this situation.”

i am not a psychologist, but it’s when humans experience two similar events, but have contradictory feelings about them, so they alter their thinking to reconcile the contradiction.
in this case, oubre “deserved” divincenzo’s takedown because oubre incidentally struck divincenzo in the head while going over the top.
on the other hand, to knicks fans embiid is not a frustrated, competitive athlete, like divincenzo, but is instead basketball-hitler who wants to burn r/nba’s crops, and bring pestilence to their villages.
