  1. * Tommy Pham & Raphael Ortega made his White Sox debuts. Pham went 2-for-5, reached on an error, and scored on a Vaughn sac fly. Ortega hit an RBI sac fly in the 8th
    * In the 4th, Mendick hit a leadoff double, then scored on a DeJong single.
    * Flexen allowed 0 R, 2 H, & 3 BB in 5 IP.
    * Maldonado hit a 3-run HR. Eloy hit a 2-run HR.
    * With 2 hits tonight, Maldonado doubled his hit total this season.
    * The Sox bullpen allowed 4 runs, including Leasure walking one in.
    * The Rays left 11 runners on base, including the bases loaded in the 7th & 8th.
    * Lopez reached on a fielding error and scored on a wild pitch in the 8th.
    * The Sox scored a season-high 9 runs.
    * The Sox won their first season opener! Entering tonight, the Sox were 0-8, getting out-scored 51-2.
    * The Sox have had losing streaks of 4, 5, 6, & 7 games.

  2. Never losing again, greatest team of all time. Gonna crush 35 season wins at least

  3. In a couple weeks we might need two hands to count our wins!
    Now on pace for 25 wins! Let’s go!!

  4. Hell yeah! LFG! I’m on the doom train too, but it’s ok to enjoy wins.

    Also, if any of your close friends or family are Rays fans you might want to check on them because they just lost to the White Sox lol

  5. We laugh now, but we’re all gonna look at the card tomorrow just to see Pedro put Snorlax at leadoff.

  6. Maldonado has basically doubled his season total in hits after going 2-4. Tommy Pham is undefeated in a Sox uniform and the offense actually figured out how to add runs as the game progressed.

  7. Thinking a Go Fund Me for cheap Maldonado Halloween masks. Just do a giveaway outside the park, or buy out a section. Create a chant for when he comes up…

  8. First game I attended (let alone watched) this season and had so much fun. I love the White Sox

  9. You have to wonder why the FO doesn’t sign players like Pham in the off season. They couldn’t possibly have looked at the roster and thought, yup! Good enough.

    Pham would have been great anytime in the last 5 years. Idk about center field but, he’s already our best hitter.

  10. The Sox lost five in a row and then won. Then lost six in a row and then won. Now they won after 7 in a row. So we’re definitely going on an 8 game losing streak now.

  11. We need to make one of those “You lost to the White Sox” meme pictures and post it every time this team wins.

    I don’t think we’ll have to worry about doing it too often, but given that many of us are rooting for a historically bad season, we should still try to find a way to make the wins fun as well!

  12. Now then, you might be able to get some more wins going forward by benching Vaughn and Maldonado more often while giving the hotter hands in Sheets and Lee more of a shot. Time to demote Soroka to either the pen or release him. See if Brad Keller is not as terrible at least as he has a sub 4 ERA and peripherals in AAA
