Lose to the worst team in baseball? You get Biscuitposting until further notice. Maybe I’ll throw something else out for the first City Connect day, if this drags on long enough.

I’m pretty sure the Savannah Bananas would destroy us right now.
This team is not competitive, simple as. Doesn’t matter what casual who insist the Rays will find a way through say. There needs to be a serious shift at the plate or this team will be out of it before August.
I’m beginning to think we may not be a good team
Also, getting beat by a bad White Sox team early in the year in a frozen Chicago has become a yearly tradition, but it hits different with how historically bad the Sox have been this year
That was pretty laughable. Luckily we haven’t looked especially good all season so the sting isn’t really there. But like, THAT’s the Eflin we saw last year? He looked utterly lost. When you’re nibbling and giving free passes to a garbage offense like this, you’re in trouble.
Our offense is obviously not good either, so honestly at this point I’ll take 4 runs. Especially given we were blanked by a 6 ERA pitcher for 5 IP

I knew this year was going to be a struggle but lord. We seriously need to shake some things up offensively in the offseason.

21 hits, 13 runs, 14 walks, 2 errors, a run-scoring wild pitch, diaz getting hit and 3 of chicago’s 9 runs were unearned… what a mess
OK you can blame me for the loss. I bet Chicago to win, straight up. 2-1 odds. We’re only one game under .500 – not the end of the world
Jesus christ I wasn’t able to watch but what was the 30,000 foot view of the game? Obviously terrible… anything else?
Turns out cheaping out on bats only works when you get ridiculous performances from your bullpen and rotation.
We have no rotation, Jason Adam and a bunch of clowns for a bullpen and a lineup that has absolutely zero pop. Zeeeeero.
This is going to be a long summer
This is exactly what happens when you constantly offload stars year after year and make very few moves. The dumb luck this team had has seemingly run out and we look lifeless. Injuries hit us hard last year (which we’re *still* feeling the effects of) and it’s resulted in numerous players who have no business being on a major league roster being trotted out. And furthermore when you have multiple guys slumping hard, a complete lack of starting pitching, and a stable full of liabilities in the bullpen it results in a 9-4 loss to a historically bad team.
I love this team and will continue to watch them but I’d be damned to say I have high expectations going forward given what we’ve seen. This is a far cry from that “fun team that could” from a few years ago and I hope we can change the culture back soon.

It’s been a struggle to watch the games this year. Bally sports app barely works on our TVs and today on Apple, was glad to not see this trash fire though. Goodness

Ok let’s be real. 3-22 is not a professional sports record. It was going to balance out at some point.
Remember. All teams win 1/3rd, and lose 1/3rd. It’s that last third that makes the difference
