Well, not what i expected but, keeps the D Line churning, he’s a buckeye who I thought showed some good stuff this year, and AB is good at this shit.
Hoping he will feast

Absolutely love this pick. Hall is a special talent who I think is only going to get better
Love the player, have no idea what’s happening to the 53 now because we’ve got 6 DTs and 5 DEs likely to make the roster and only space for 10 DL.
For the DT group in general, it’s a great move to make that group younger but do we see a Mo Hurst trade now?
He’s young and from the area. Hopefully it goes well. A reminder that there is no such thing as a bad pick right now until they get on the field.
I love AB’s drafting style. I’m almost always on board with his picks. Hall is no exception.
I’m going to go out on a limb there. He’s already better than Perrion Winfrey.

I’d have loved to go up the draft for Mcconkey or even Mitchell(When I saw the Colts got him I sighed so fucking loudly) or even DeJean and Kool-aid then you trade Greg for the cap space but in this situation I am a fan of the pick. Especially since he’s a NEO guy.

I was really hoping Adonai Mitchell fell to 54. Hall seems like a good pick though, non-controversial

Great pick!! This guy will be a solid starter for a long time. Great character guy, and doesn’t hurt he’s a Buckeye!
I like the pick a lot. They had this kid playing nose. If he stayed in school, good chance he’s a top 25 pick next year. Only 20.
IMO this pick is a rotational pass rusher this year, with a chance to start next year. Keep in mind three of the vets in the room are on 1 year deals.
Long term plan here.

The fastest defensive tackle in the draft class, Hall ran a 4.75(at 290 lbs ) during Ohio State’s pro day and has one of the best first step bursts in the class. An interior pass rusher, Hall has major upside. As a run defender, Hall has a long way to go and needs to be more consistent and gap sound. This is solid value, as Hall is good enough to contribute, but Cleveland doesn’t have many picks and could’ve used oline help.
Grade B-minus
Note from me: I believe that grading a pick as it happens is a joke and should wait at least 2 years before judging

I wonder where he was on the Browns draft board compared to the other DTs that were drafted ahead of him (there were 6 DTs drafted in the 2nd round ahead of Hall).
