[Speier] Triston Casas said he didn’t fracture his rib, but rather suffered torn cartilage – an unusual injury without contact. He was told by the doctor that he “created my own car crash.” Timetable is wide – “3 weeks, 6 weeks, 9 weeks” – to start cardio actuvity/strengthening.

It semed more odd to me that he could break a rib just swinging. It’s happened before, but it’s usually just a stress fracture. A muscle injury is not that unusual at all.
Casas also said he’s feeling better than he did five days ago.
A broken bone would be better. 4-6 weeks heal time with a fracture. Sounds like time table for this injury is unknown
