How are we feeling after 2 rounds?? Who thought we would get both!!

A weakness is becoming a strength. Yes they both still have a lot to prove but anyone else feel a weight lifter off our shoulders ?

Would really love a LB or OL in round 3 but hard to complain about getting both Mitchell AND DeJean.
Feels incredible. Howie gets shit done some how some way he always gets it done. It couldn’t have gone better imho. This was our biggest area of need and we got 2 of the top corners in the draft. No project players and both ready to fucking go.
I would’ve loved Edgerrin for possibly less capital, but if we can take a LB still then I’m happy. I worry about the box especially if we’re putting DeJean at Safety
However Edgerrin isn’t really a “coverage” guy so this helps nonetheless. Hard to see how DeJean OR Mitchell aren’t a stud in a volatile position. Youth defense is a necessary long term plan with our capital allocated to offense
Howie is buttering us up with these first two picks knowing he’s not really gonna address the LB room that much
Odds are at least one will be a bust. We’ll see in a few years.
Right now feel really good. LB’s are currently falling and we will could still get a starter in Rd3 and Beebe is falling currently, but I also feel like they really like Tyler Steen

Do y’all think we’re taking Trotter Jr LB in the 3rd then? I’m still hesitant on the guy despite his dad being an Eagles legend, but it’s a position of need.
This was the dream. As soon as we got Mitchell at 22, I was hoping on Howie trading up for Dejean.

Man it’s got to be an incredible feeling for any of these young players getting drafted to the NFL..but what a feeling to get drafted into our atmosphere…with Jalen, AJ, Saquon, Devonta locked up. Killer/legendary o-line…legendary D coach and a bunch of young defensive players.

Feeling kinda sorry for Isaiah Rodgers honestly. Gonna be plenty of competition in that CB room though
Slot corner depth, safety depth and possible outside corner in a couple years. I bet he plays all over the field next year.
