As someone who wanted Nabers and wasn’t satisfied with any alternative, I am happy to be proven a dumbass. This trio is not only three instantaneous starters, not only three top 50 prospects, but a significantly better haul than Nabers, a second-tier lineman, and whoever.
Yes, devils advocate says JPJ would be available, but his medical history is quite concerning and drafting tackle who is often compared to Joe Thomas hits like crack knowing we have McConkey and likely another WR coming.

Loving this draft so far. Dane Brugler’s big board has us taking his OT1, WR5, and LB1. Not only that the guys are young but they fit the team culture. I haven’t felt this good about all the Chargers draft picks in many years, and with Harbaugh’s knowledge of college athletes I think we’re only going to see more amazing picks.

Good heavens. To whine and bitch about getting a generational talent like Alt (a living mountain with nimble feet and athleticism) at #5 but supposedly love Harbaugh’s approach to building a winner. I was hoping for Bowers personally but I knew deep down Harbaugh and Hortiz wanted their version of Ogden or Yanda.
Then to hear these fans cry themselves to sleep somehow forgetting we had another six rounds to go and/or believing we were out of picks 🤦♂️ Harbaugh has been quite honest from the beginning with what he wants to do. Eliminating unnecessary hits to Herbert and cutting his passing attempts in half.

Ladd college’ career has been bugged with knee issues. Tendinitis…..hopefully his elite skills will translate into the NFL levels and be an all time great.
