  1. Pre-injury the dude was an easy first rounder IMO. Quality.

You’d have to think we did our homework and have seen that he is recovering well from his broken leg.

  2. So Hall, and the guy who blocked Hall sometimes. Well practice should be fun!

**As the man states below, Our earlier pick fell on this guy injuring him the saturday after thanksgiving in The Game.

  3. Solid pick, I’d guess he’ll probably start as OG 4 to fully heal from that bad break, so I like it as a long term answer to Bitonio/teller

Also I think Mike Hall is the one who broke his leg

  4. Very solid draft so far. Zinter was a stud on that offensive line and would have been drafted higher if he didn’t suffer that injury.

  5. I really like this pick. Last year showed us how important depth is on the offensive line. One of the best offensive line prospects in this draft. If he was healthy all year, he would have been a first round pick. Another steal by Berry.

  6. Love this pick. He was the best player on that whole team, even if he wasn’t there at the end. He probably needs some time to get back in form, which is why he went this late, but we can afford that. This pick should help for the next 10 years.

  7. > > His collegiate career is decorated with multiple accolades, including three-time All-Big Ten honors and unanimous All-American recognition in 2023. Beyond the field, Zinter’s academic achievements are equally impressive, earning him three-time Academic All-Big Ten and two-time CSC Academic All-American titles. On the field, his 2023 season was particularly standout, allowing only nine pressures on 389 pass-blocking snaps, cementing his reputation as a formidable pass protector.

This guy is good. So long as the leg heals properly it’s a home run pick.

  8. Only weird because Bitonio and Teller are already so highly paid. But guard plays a vital role in our offensive scheme, so I’m about it. As long as his leg is healthy, this is a solid pick.

  9. I give zero shits where you went to school as long as you can ball, welcome to the land Zak!

  10. As a Michigan Browns fan, if he returns to form this guy will be fantastic for the run blocking. Also a great team guy and one of those players who you genuinely pull for. Super excited for this pick

  11. The unanimous all american was the leader of Michigan’s Big Uglies, until an unfortunate injury cut his season short against Ohio State.

The Big House crowd didn’t stay quiet though, they chanted “Let’s Go Zak!” as he made his way off the field in the cart. Immediately on the next play Blake Corum broke off a long touchdown and threw up his number 65 out of respect.

Zak had the respect of everyone in Ann Arbor, we all knew how much he meant to the team. Phenomenal downhill run blocker, protects the QB well too.

  12. Steve Everett. Wolverine. Took the fine from the nfl when he wore a browns bandana under his ravens helmet after the team was stolen.

    I’m ok with Michigan linemen.

  13. Seems like a pretty good value pick. But is it too much to want a linebacker? Because I don’t think Devin Bush is very good.

  14. You can never have too many good linemen. You especially can’t have too many good cheap linemen. He’ll have an opportunity to learn under 2 All Pro guards and maybe have a shot to earn a starting position next year. Stefanski ran a ton of heavy formation last year so he’ll see some playing time assuming his leg is healed.

  15. Huge Buckeye fan but love this pack. All American lineman and played a pro style offense. As we saw last year injuries on the line can add up. Always good to have depth until he starts.
