  1. All i can say is I will watch the next game to witness the end of Z-BI era

  2. Don’t care about it being a blowout, multiple no calls in the first half when the game was close lead to open thunder 3s. It was the same thing last game. The difference in the whistle they get versus what they are allowed to do is fucking ridiculous.

Edit: doubt anyone cares but I only put “when the game was close” to point out that the no calls im upset with happened when it wasn’t a blowout. Not saying they caused the blowout

  3. I ain’t got nothing to add that hasn’t been said but I’d like to propose an idea:

Have Cody Zeller coach game 4. The guy has been playing basketball since he was going head to head with George Mikan. So he’s got a lot of experience maybe he can find something.

  4. I just wanted to see a series this season, and I still feel like I’m waiting.

The season was over when they tanked from the 4 spot

  5. We were healthy all season until BI and Zion got injured at the absolute worst times to lose your star players.

Basketball gods switched it up, they didn’t even use lube this time

  6. A team, that has won 50 games, is 0-26 when trailing entering the 4th. That’s not luck. That’s not a cold shooting night. That’s not bad refereeing. It’s foundational.

  7. I really can’t listen to the Willie excuses anymore. CJ excuses too. He had that dawg in him two weeks ago and disappeared in the playoffs like the last decade of his career.

I’d rather this team be bottom of the barrel than middle of the pack season after season.

  8. What was the point of not trading Jonas at the deadline? For him to sit on the bench?

  9. Willie has to go. His refusal to make any adjustment outside of benching JV is crazy. The fact that this team is pretty mid at home and have no 4th quarter comebacks is indicative of bad coaching. You can’t keep running the same thing and expecting it to work. OKC is leading the series and still made fucking adjustments. No JV and no shooters playing has not worked all fucking year yet he continues to try it, definition of insanity.

  10. If FO isn’t convinced about doing some radical changes to the roster after this game, this team will never reach or even come close to its potential.

  11. It’s hard to believe that any competitive team has had a more disappointing playoff experience than the pelicans.

I’m ready for a big offseason

  12. There’s no point playing BI and CJ any more in game 4. Gave them too many chances already but never delivered. Might as well play Trey/Herb/Hawkins as the primary options to have a peek at the future.

Zion is gonna come back next season but it has to be without BI and with a better roster fit.

  13. CJ was just bad this game. All this hate directed at different guys when CJ is just too old to have a main role. He should be complementary to Z and BI. Feel for him but I also don’t love him taking 22 shots.

And honestly I just don’t get the hate. Without Z this team is severely limited and can’t hang with a team like OKC. When OKC forces the ball out of BIs hands we don’t have any other shot creators so it was expected that we would be struggling.

Interested to see what moves (if any lol) the FO makes in the off-season. Feels like the consensus is that BI is gone but I also don’t know what other team is paying him the max.

  14. CJ is like a guy who is supposed to be a savvy veteran but does no savvy veteran shit and in fact acts like a rookie at times. When he got ripped right before half when we shoulda held on for the last shot I had flashbacks to him getting ripped to essentially end the Phoenix series. Also the Pels picked the absolute WORST time to bring Choppa out to perform Choppa Style with like 6 minutes left in the game. The whole game was basically laughable from 39-40 onwards

  15. There is some alternate universe when Sabonis does not make 3 straight awful plays, Kings beat the Suns, Pels rest everyone vs Lakers and they are playing Wolves right now. They would probably be 0/3 or 1/2 anyway but at least it would have been enjoyable.

  16. Chuck saying the Pels don’t deserve to go to Cancun and that we should send them to Galveston is spot on. I’m dying laughing lmfao.

  17. The top 3 West seeds are just taking massive ✌️s all over the 6, 7 and 8 seeds. Currently 9-0 in the first round.

As bad as we feel today, Phoenix and LA probably feel worse.

I’ll still be there for Game 4…

  18. PelsPress on Twitter crying about fans complaining is so off base.

The delusional Stockholm syndrome Pelicans fans really be fine eating dog shit on a plate. Yikes. I miss the CP3 era where fans like this don’t exist, because the fanbase didn’t cannibalize itself from years of failure.

All we want is the Pelicans to win. They don’t. They ugly lose and Willie looks lost. So, we don’t magically will these loses from our minds into existence like a bad juju Spirit Bomb.

It just happens and we know it will happen. Whatever position we take doesn’t change the underlined issue with these ugly and embarrassing home loses.

I don’t understand how you can be okay and attack other fans rather than being objective with the clear issues.

Those issues in loses have been present all season and none of them got corrected. We spent this whole month dealing with all the issues coming haunt us at the worst time possible this last month.

Change has to happen with personnel and coaching.

  19. First things first I want to give them credit. Best thing to do in these trying times.

  20. CJ fucking sucks he should be in China next year but they’re paying him 30 million dollars shooting 35% TS gotta be a new record

  21. People will put alot of the blame on BI but Willie has committed coaching war crimes this series, CJ has played like playoffs CJ, and Jose has played the worst basketball of his NBA career.

  22. I hate Willie Green as a a coach but he was never the problem this series. Zion or not, it is imposible if your second “All Star” will play lazy all the series except when you are already down 20 and your 30m 10 year vet cant stop losing the ball and missing shots.

  23. anyone who thinks willie and griffin shouldnt be fired after this, is part of the problem.

  24. A lot of my comments are about the refs but thats just because those moments are frustrating as a fan and I don’t like the argument that a blow out makes bad calls somehow not matter. But the bad calls aren’t the reason for the blowouts, that’s on CJ and Bi once again failing to live up to the moment until the game was well out of hand. No amount of bad calls is an excuse for the energy they put forth on the court the last 2 games. Even more frustrating than watching a bad call is watching your stars shrivel after not getting the call, Zion got a bad whistle but it made him angry, Steph gets a bad whistle but it makes him angry, a lot of the dudes tn got bad whistles and gave up completely.
