#NFLVideos: Round 6: You get a Kicker, You get a Kicker! | 2024 NFL Draft

Round 6: You get a Kicker, You get a Kicker! | 2024 NFL Draft

live from Stonehenge now back to Detroit
for the Vikings
[Applause]
pick with the 177th pick in the 2024 NFL
draft the Minnesota Vikings select
Walter Rouse tackle Oklahoma
pick came over from Stanford uh as a
left tackle ended up working over there
for Bill beaten BAU the offensive line
coach for uh for Oklahoma reminds me a
little bit of Cam Flemming who was a
player who actually started or who
actually played at Stanford as well and
spent some time with the Dallas Cowboys
some other NFL teams um he has a lot of
starting experience he’s got good
technique he’s played at some spots
where they emphasize techniques he’s
generally patient and well balance
balanced with his pass sets keeps the
feet moving to stay connected with
blocks there’s some things I like about
I thought he was a quality uh tackle who
has a chance to become a swing tackle
not not the best athlete but for the
sixth round this is actually pretty good
value for a tackle this late in the
draft with the
178th pick of the 2024 NFL draft the
Pittsburg Steelers select Logan Lee
defensive in Iowa peace
[Applause]
Detroit hot mic there I mean people are
getting excited we got a hot mic over
there in uh Detroit but it’s not
stopping me from hearing the names
called like Logan Lee and if you really
want to know the truth this is one of
the best fits that he could have found I
think Logan Lee is not a defense a
classic defensive tackle he’s not built
like one he’s built like an old school
34 uh defensive end the 345 technique
and that’s where he goes Pittsburgh
Steelers are going to use him in that
way he can stack and shed as a 34 in
he’s got good upper body power he was
part of a ferocious defensive front
there in Iowa so really gets after a
little bit limited athletically but is
going to compete for a backup roll there
so with the 179th pick of the 2024 draft
the Seattle Seahawks select Sato satoa
lamea he’s a tackle from
Utah
congratulations little position
flexibility here play a little guard
play a little tackle also played for a
significant period of time you know
typically Kyle winningham’s uh boys up
front usually have gotten the job done
especially in that run game but uh I
don’t know you you’re the expert man you
tell me no he’s a he’s a he’s a tough
player he I like him he’s going to move
to guard he’s going to be a full-time
guard and I like him I think I thought
he’d go on fourth round I I wanted to
say there was maybe something medically
that caused him to fall but he’s a good
player he can move his feet as you’re
seeing here he can shift change
directions he’s tough as most Utah
offensive linemen are and uh he does
give you the you know he’s probably a
guard who might be able to be an
emergency tackle for you as well I like
the selection here first or second
teamer three of the four years a starter
over there in pwell with the 180th pick
in the 2024 NFL draft the New England
Patriots select marcelus D defensive
back South
Carolina marcelus dial is uh another of
the Elliot wolf picks in his first draft
of course course the son of the great
general manager Ron wolf who spent all
those years in Green Bay he’s going to
grab a 6′ 190lb cornerback so he’s got
good size he’s got good speed impressive
athletic profile it’s one thing about
this draft another 40in vertical leap
guy 40.5 with 10 foot n broad jump so
he’s got the athletic prowess I think
with dial the question on him is going
to be can he play lower out his pedal
can he play lower in space so he can
change direction and match routes a
little a little bit better so with that
being said with the 181st pick in the
2024 NFL draft the Los Angeles Chargers
select Kimani FAL running
back let
go I can tell you they get it lit on
game day there’s no question they do
there’s no question Kaman Vidal does as
well he’s compact only five he’s five
let’s give him five 5 seven and 78 don’t
do that to him he’s 5’8 13 lbs he’s
compact he’s physical he’s a Workhorse
he took a lot of carries on over the
last two years he’s got the lower body
flection to make those Sharp Cuts Like
You see there good upfield acceleration
after the catch when you want to throw
it to him out of the back field he’s got
a nose for the endzone as well really
good at finding touchdowns during his
time over um at Troy and you know he
joins his teammate Javon Solomon both
drafted here day two I think you know
the one issue he’s going to have he’s
not he’s not the fastest guy out to the
corner so the the field gets a little
more constricted on him there’s a nice
pick in the sixth round for the for the
Chargers I think Jim har and you always
get excited knowing that Jim Harbaugh is
involved with some of the Run game
decisions and if he sees Vidal I think
he’ll like some of the Blake corm type
elements of his game yeah know when you
know you’re getting drafted by a guy
who’s going to want to run the football
that’s big that uh that’s a familiar
face uh for sports fans hey Karen by the
way the great nephew of hammeron I
that’s you want to talk about some
family lineage here by the way his dad
also playing football at Florida A&M so
there’s some athletes uh in the genan
pool with the 187 pick in the 2024 NFL
draft the Tennessee Titans select Jaan
Jackson wide receiver T
[Applause]
Lane Jackson has a very famous uh Uncle
oh yeah that’s that’s talk about uh DNA
and the genetics Ed Reed sign me up for
a little bit of that we got a little
toughness here in the family so I had
him as a sixth round pick he’s a little
undiz of the slot he scored touchdowns
as a receiver as a rusher and as a punt
returner during college so he can find
different ways to get into the end zone
he maintains his top speed throughout
the route that what’s that’s what makes
him very very difficult he ran a 442
which is fast he’s really fast but as
you can see on these he’s not the
tallest wide receiver so I don’t know
how often he’ll be getting vertical but
it was funny because I was watching tape
of Michael Pratt the quarterback from
two lane who has not gone by the way in
this draft and the thing that kept
standing out is man this number four is
a problem and I didn’t see him later in
the year score a bunch of touchdowns and
all I could think of is why were we not
getting the ball to number four because
number four is a is a menace when he
gets down the field I think you know
when you look at the productivity it was
good it wasn’t great
439 uh receiving yards four touchdowns
16.9 yards per catch but I think he’s
got a chance to do so much more than
that now will Levis you’re giving him a
smaller Target with some speed
vertically we’ll see what Tennessee does
with that kind of a
mismatch ele you know their draft is
kind of all over the place
philosophically but I do know this is a
player with good play speed who can I
think be more productive productive than
maybe some of the numbers we saw at
Tennessee with the
183d pick the n in the
2024 NFL draft the New York Giants
select Dar maras Marosa linebacker UCLA
go
[Applause]
Giants go Giants is right and how about
the gmen going into Southern California
for a linebacker one of Chip Kelly’s
former players actually a team leader in
terms of tackles with 75 and some good
play experience started every game last
year yeah play speed not great but he’s
played a lot of football played it
started at Hawaii and was very
productive at why came over to UCLA and
was productive once he got to the UC
once he got to UCLA he was a second Team
all conference two years in a row at
UCLA so showed that he could make the
Step Up from Hawaii to UCLA he does a
nice job of flowing to play Direction he
reads it very very quickly he’ll stick
his nose in the trash inside and go
rooting around for running backs you
like that too that type of mentality I
think uh you know getting off of
climbing linebackers he lets linebackers
get up on him and get into his frame a
little bit too frequently but what I do
love what Mike McDaniels excited about
somebody falling to him we can tell he’s
very excited about it uh but what I like
about musal there just to finish up is
um he’s an instinctive player who plays
Full Speed Ahead that is a special teams
linebacker pick in the sixth
round col Miami Dolphins with the 184th
pick of the 2024 NFL draft the Miami
Dolphins select Malik Washington wide
receiver from Virginia go Dolphins
Alti I I mean I don’t know how he lasted
this long honestly Malik Washington is a
really good football player um made the
move over from Northwestern and came to
Virginia and all he did take take a look
at these numbers I mean he was a second
Team all conference second team
All-American First Team all conference
he had 13 yards per catch he had uh
176 allpurpose yards caught, 1426 yards
worth of football and 110 receptions
like the production was insane he’s good
after the catch he’s slippery as a route
Runner I honestly I don’t know there
there’s got to be something here because
as a football player this guy had day
two potential really really talented
foot football player with the 185th pick
in the 2024 and NL draft the
Philadelphia Eagles select Johnny Wilson
wide receiver Florida
State didn’t so this
way so the Eagles another wide receiver
here off board guess I guess he a wide
receiver I don’t know Buck do you think
Johnny Wilson’s a wide receiver based on
what you saw man it’s going to be hard
it’s 66 231 lbs it’s hard to say that
someone can go outside but that tight
end question mark That’s on uh the card
maybe that’s where he goes in maybe he
becomes a jumbo slot receiver that they
find way to get some protection out of
him over the mid Atlanta by the way
backto back picks here in round six
here’s the first let’s get
it with the 187th pick in a 2024 NFL
draft the Atlanta Falcons select Jace
mclen running back
[Applause]
Alabama okay I’m I’m okay with this pck
Jason mlen I thought had more yeah know
fifth sixth round this about is where he
should go No Nonsense Alabama back runs
where wherever you draw the play up
that’s where he’s going to run it he is
going to get what’s blocked he’s tough
he’ll get down hill between the tackles
and and finish with his pads so solid
player I don’t think anything special
stands out but you know at the running
back position you can go through
historically and looking as long as
you’re decisive and you got a little
something to you whether it’s some power
or some elusiveness or just decisiveness
and getting in there between the tackle
you can play in the NFL and you can get
carries and you know sometimes you end
up doing way better than people think
Jace mclen is a pedigree Runner Bucky
who you know he’s just solid solid at
what he does
[Applause]
solry with the 187th pick in the 2024
NFL draft the Atlanta Falcons select
casy Washington wide receiver
[Music]
[Applause]
Illinois it’s coming off a career Year
guys 49 receptions 670 yards yards for
receiving touchdowns this past year so
Atlanta once again just trying to put
some pieces into place for that team’s
offense yeah good size below average
career production um he’s really
physical at the catch point is willing
to get into it with you he has the foot
quickness to beat press and to beat
coverages I I like the competitive
nature that he plays with he he has the
size and strength and aggression to
become a solid run blocker as well only
four touchdowns and 122 career catches
that bothers me a little bit but
sometime there are other elements to it
below average long speed to get that
vertical separation I think that’s
something that you have to be a little
bit concerned with he’s also a very
laggy Strider so not all routes are
going to be built the same for him
there’s certain routes that you don’t
want him running in terms of underneath
because it’ll take them too long to get
in and out so uh six round pick with
with a lot of the competitive elements
you want but you don’t have the
productivity and I think there’s some
there’s some limitations to the route
tree I’m Edgar Navy veteran from Houston
Texas and we are here in unio AKA Elan
the most passionate stadium in all of
Mexico and we I’m here to announce that
with 188th pick in the 2024 NFL draft
the Houston Texans select Jamal Jamal
Hill linebacker
Oregon Oregon crushing it today I don’t
know what the tally is on the day but
that is now Oregon well it’s eight
overall for the draft it might well it’s
at least seven today yeah so it’s
they’re seven so this is a guy so Texans
have a little thing they do where if
they bring you in for a top 30 you got a
good chance getting drafted another top
30 visit was Troy Hill uh was uh um
rather not Troy Hill but Jamal Hill I
really like Jamal Hill I watched tape
and immediately sent some text messages
to some friends in the league like hey
have you seen this guy yet man he’s a
former safety turn linebacker with
tremendous speed ran into a four fours
at his pro day he’s a newcomer to the
position so you know he’s just he’s not
ready yet in ter terms of making the
reads but look how physical he is like
he’s got the physicality of a linebacker
that’s not a problem he just needs to
add a little bit more weight now even if
he’s only a backup he is going to be a
plus plus special teams player because
he is a runand hit player great speed to
get down the field and then he can lay
you out when it comes to tackling
officially making that pick I’m just
pulling it up maai Wingo LSU a defensive
tackle off the board last year four and
a half sacks played in the eight games
making his presence felt not not a bad
selection here from a a line perspective
trying to bolster that defensive line
yeah I think you know I think he
actually had more consistent tape than
Mason Smith who went way way earlier he
just didn’t have the traits He’s listed
at 284 he played heavier than that but
that hurts him because he is under sized
he just you know he’s going to have to
be a one gapping up the field type of
defensive tackle because of his size um
he knows how to play he’s slippery with
his hands he can get around you where
you see Mason Smith number zero there is
like a little bit slower getting off the
block cuz he’s a taller player here you
have a shorter player who really does a
nice job of getting off blocks and
getting into where he needs to be it’s
just you know physically from a trait
standpoint he doesn’t stand out and
there may be some question about how
much weight can he carry during the year
as uh as play rolls on so you know give
him a chance to compete over there and
uh see what he’s going to be able to do
with the uh uh with the Lions yeah look
the Philadelphia Eagles moments ago
making this selection in Dylan McMahon
and and Bucky I can’t help but notice
these last few selections here on the
offensive side Trevor Keegan in the
fifth round out of Michigan the guard
then it’s Johnny Wilson the wide
receiver and now again going to that
offensive line yeah down at the bottom
of the draft you talking about guys that
can find a way and so you think about
Dylan McMillan being able to go to the
Philadelphia Eagles natural void you
know you talking about Kelsey Moving on
but they’re looking for other guys that
can come and feel some Ro so like the 33
in vert but so when I tell you as a
scout we so he’s 33 vert and a 97 broad
that’s pretty good for Center as a test
yeah that’s I mean that’s an explosive
athlete and it makes sense that the
Philadelphia Eagles would do that
because Jason Kelsey was an athletic
super athletic center so you want to
kind of find guys that follow those
traits even though we’re not talking
about McMahon coming in and being a
starter you certainly want to build that
room up with guys who have similar
traits he’s played guard and Center too
so he’s played left guard he started at
left guard Right Guard Center that fits
right yeah you got flexibility you got
traits and ultimately you got to have
multiple swing players you got to have
guys that can play interior swing
meaning Center and guard then you have
to have someone that can be a tackle
that can play on each
side with the
191st pick and the 2024 NFL draft the
Arizona Cardinal Sate T John Palmer
receiver Alabama Birmingham let’s go
bird
gang bird gang indeed ton Palmer has a
little hamstring injury so um I don’t
believe he is able to run and put a 40
down but that’s okay you got GPS numbers
and computer vision that you can get in
there and get his numbers he’s got the
NFL body type proportional length yeah
he’ll take the lick he’ll take the
licking and keep on ticking that’s old
school if you know that one expansive
catch radius he’s capable of working a
slot as a Zone beater as well as you see
right here we’ll give you a little well
that wasn’t a slot move but he can come
back and go get the football he’s very
competitive after the catch with the run
and drag strength so once he catches it
he’s going to drag you along love the
size 6′ one 210 I thought he might be a
free agent but here we are drafted I’m
Rebecca I am representing the Wounded
Warrior Project and I just want to give
a shout out to the Wounded Warrior
Project all the amazing things that they
do the lives that they save and I want
to thank the NFL for all of their
support because without those donations
Wounded Warrior wouldn’t be able to do
what it
does so with the 192nd pick in the 2024
NFL draft the Seattle Seahawks select
DJ James defensive back
Auburn I’m not going to lie I mean I got
like a second round Talent grade film
grade on him I think he’s a really
talented player he was good last year
he’s good this year he can really play
I’m not sure why we’re talking about him
in the sixth other than he weighs 175
pounds but I mean we also had Jacob
Cowan get drafted tank Dell get drafted
uh Xavier worthy get drafted these are
wide receivers who don’t even you know
who who have a hard time cracking 17 so
I don’t know if there’s something else
going on here because DJ James is a
full-time starter in the SEC at
cornerback he makes plays on the
football 10 pbus just this year Alone um
he had you know he had eight pass
breakups the year before he’s got very
smooth fluid mirror match footwork his
his speed is is good at four at 442 he’s
not the biggest guy but man Bucky he can
match up from the slot he can match up
outside like why is he going in the six
so what happens sometimes when it comes
to it is the profile like depending on
how the corners have gone off the board
we’ve seen various runs where we’ve seen
the wide receivers go off saw
quarterbacks go over running backs
everyone has their run now we going on
the second or third run when it comes to
the quarterback the cornerbacks luckily
he’s going to a
program where they give young players
opportunities to play on the field
that’s led by John Snyder so even though
he’s a six round pick he may actually
have an opportunity to get on the field
and actually play which is different in
some some programs
with the 193rd pick in the 2024 NFL
draft the New England Patriots select
Joe Milton quarterback
Tennessee swing to bat Elliot I I kind
of like this I mean well we got a new
quarterback Drake May he’s supposed to
be the trest of the big six and now the
trest of the entire draft Joe Milton is
is a patriot as well why not Buck you
talked about you used the phrase and I
like to use it too
Lottery scratch off ticket oh that’s
what you talk about over here at the
convenience store just getting those
scratch and pick tickets just trying to
figure out if we can come up with
something so Elliot wolf Lance alluded
to him Elliot wolf comes from a family
that they believe in the traits and the
tools so highweight speed arm Talent all
those things Joe Mill has all of that
now you notice we’re seeing these things
in workouts we’re seeing one-off plays
we’re not seeing a series of plays
because the game play has been
inconsistent but what you see with their
two quarterbacks all of a sudden there’s
a profile where little Bailey zappy was
running around they’re probably not
going to get down like that anymore
they’re going to have guys man this me I
went viral right here at Lance Zine look
at my viral video right here watch
this peps worked with him yeah so I
actually I we were doing our coverage on
NFL Network and I saw pep there and I
just shot him a text with Milton thrown
I was like hey who’s popping right now
and he goes hey the one guy that’s
starting to stand out for me now it
makes some sense because heing out with
he said Joe Milton so uh thank you for
putting that conversation that text
conversation into perspective for me but
here we go once again the draft
continues to to roll on here and we’re
talking about another pass catcher yeah
there’s a lot of Scouts who I think New
England’s probably not super excited
that he went right here but um maybe
you’re hoping he goes a little later in
the draft nothing’s going to really
stand out athletically about him and yet
the tape is just like pop pop pop pop he
just makes a bunch of plays knows how to
catch and go he’s very fluid in air as
you see there’s something about guys who
are loose and agile the way they catch
and move and that’s what he’s got the
ability to do Ryan watts is high weight
speed athleticism all day long East West
Shrine ball high weight speed long arms
looks toart uh as they would say in
scouting parland he is a show Pony when
you see him on the hoof he looks exactly
how you want him he is a cutout for how
you want your Corners to look like this
dude 6’2 over 200 lb play Corner can
play safety has some versatility and
like this and for him to go to the
Pittsburgh Steelers it makes a lot of
sense because the Steelers preferred
guys to have a lot of those uh core
traits at the position yeah I I’ve got
him as a as a six round pick I gave him
a 58 grade high on the 5’8 and that’s
usually going to be like a six round
pick right here let me throw some of
these numbers at you 45340 which is
which is good he’s 6’3 208 but he jumped
402 in which is huge 10 five broad jump
these numbers stood out to me Bucky when
you run a 6823 cone with a 413 Pro
shuttle that’s good quickness to go
along with that the explosive hips so I
think worst casee scenario you’re you’re
getting an athlete without question but
I think you’re also getting a special
teamer here so then when they look at
this has a chance to be a core teamer in
a backup safety going to get into the
pick all righty with the 196th pick in
the 20124 NFL draft Los Angeles Rams
select Tyler Davis defensive tackle
[Applause]
Clemson Tyler Davis actually has some
good tape I to it man I I thought we
were going to comment on let me out way
Tyler Davis can stop the run he’s
powerful at the point of attack he
played I thought his effort level was as
good as ruk or roro um I think he’s a
good player now let’s get to Australians
well three rows by the way just to be a
yeah oh row row row yes um okay we got a
pick we’re going to throw it out to the
pick when we come back I’m not done with
this Australian conversation oh we
[Applause]
Cy with the 197th pick in the 2024 NFL
draft the Atlanta Falcons select Zion
lobe defensive end
Georgia okay short trip from short trip
from Georgia to Atlanta um boy he looks
the part now looks the part I thought
the tapes I don’t think he plays like he
looks all the time which is probably why
he’s in the sixth round instead of the
second round because man he’s got a he’s
got an early pick body type but just a
little inconsistent production not
really there during his career with the
198th pick in the 2024 NFL draft the
Miami Dolphins select Patrick MCM Morris
defensive back out of
California go
lion go Bears cow bears that is 6′ 207
he can play with uh you know he’s a
safety but he’s got some coverage Talent
he’s well disciplined with his eyes and
positioning his own stays where he’s
supposed to he can close quickly
downhill on Perimeter throws and go get
you and wrap you up and finish it that’s
what we’re going to see right here you
see the little uh high low action here
as he balances between the high low he
can make adjustments with his Pursuit
angles on the ball which is very whether
it’s a throw or whether it’s the run
which is important he gets lured into
the cheese he’ll bite on the cheese and
play action it’s something he’s got to
watch out for and I think the range over
the top as a high Zone Defender is a
little bit of a concern he’s not the
best athlete out there which hurts him
31in vertical 94 broad he didn’t run at
the combine I don’t have his 40 yard
dash from his pro day but he’s a very
average athlete probably why he’s here
but he’s actually a pretty good football
player you know he does a lot of the
football stuff well so do you have
something you want to say on that or you
no so for all these guys that are
drafted down here there like what you’re
doing is you have multiple conversations
so one is the position coach two the
special teams coach weighs in and then
you have the coordinated weigh in trying
to figure out what is a path we take him
what is a path to get him a jersey each
and every week so you talked about his
size his length and all that other stuff
can he make the lineup as a special
teams player what being good enough as a
backup to maybe earn
minutes now with the 199th pick of the
2024 NFL draft the New Orleans Saints
select Christian Boyd defensive tackle
Northern
Iowa Bucky you had eyes on him at East
West Shrine yeah this is not a surprise
to see him get drafted when you watch
him at East West shrine game mountain of
a man but not only is the mountain of a
man but he had really powerful hand
skills the thing that stands out about
Christian Boyd at Northern I when you
watched him just a production 10 and a
half sacks in his career 22 and a half
tackles for loss for a rugged interior
player that production is on point when
you had a chance to watch him practice
plays with good effort good energy has
the length and physicality that you want
is finding a role and trying to be able
to carve out something when you look at
the Saints defense the front they have a
need they have a need for someone that
is kind of a stout player at the point
of attack Christian boy can feel that
void he got hot during the process too
he didn’t go the combine was not a
combine invite um teams all were having
meetings coaches were like who’s you can
always tell too he hit a lot of top 30
visits and you know the coaches were
saying hey hey hey hey where do we have
this guy where do we have this guy why
wasn’t he at the combine how was he not
at the combine let’s get him in let’s
get him in let’s get him in so um he was
a player and Bucky saw him at East West
I didn’t go to East West I went to
senior Ball but on tape looked like a
good player thought he was about a fifth
round pick I wondered if he might even
get hotter than that with all the top 30
visits but ultimately Falls in a six but
that’s okay if you look at the roster of
the Saints he’s got a chance to get in
there and get some playing time pretty
quickly as a
backup with a 200th pick in the 2024 NFL
draft the Carolina Panthers select Jaden
crummy defensive tackle Mississippi
[Applause]
State okay big man from Mississippi
State um he tends to just get off the
ball and try to hit anything that’s in
his way he’s got to play with a little
bit more control a little bit more
control at his hands but he’s got good
shed to tackle quickness that’s
something that not everyone has at
defensive tackle you’re a little late to
to shed so he’s got some ability with
the 201st pick in the 2024 NFL draft the
Indianapolis Colts select Micah Abraham
defensive back Marshall
big Pro Day tester uh for Micah Abraham
that’s how he came onto the uh the scene
for me when I was taking a look at him I
ended up giving him a six round grade I
think he’s got a chance to become an NFL
backup he’s a little small on the side
on the small side he’s 59 185 he’s a
pure ball Hawking nickel cornerback but
man he’s got rare ball production rare
instincts 55 passes defending including
12 interceptions
uh Bucky those are really really
impressive number 19 passes defense this
this this year but 12 picks 55 passes
defense when you have that kind of ball
production and that’s something that I
know that some teams really CET they
want to see ball production you can have
all the traits but can you go get the
ball well in gu Bradley scheme in
particular you want to see ball
production because it’s a c ball get
ball defense it’s one that really relies
on the DBS to watch the quarterback’s
eyes and to really make aggressive plays
on that when you also think about the
IND and opst Co they’re one of the few
teams that may not be as stringent when
it comes to the height weight
measurement and dimensions when for some
of their skill players so coming in
under 10 510 won’t be an issue he’ll
slide in the slot he’ll hold his own the
slot and he’ll have an opportunity to
carve out a nice roll for himself it is
round number six of the NFL draft day
number three moments ago Travis Glover
getting drafted by the Green Bay Packers
to go rker to the Minnesota Vikings at
pick 203 let’s Circle back here on glove
Bucky what do we like about him so what
we like about him is we like his size we
like his length we like the fact that
he’s going to be able to come in and
compete what the Green Bay Packers have
been able to succeed for so years at
doing has being able to develop these
late round picks and they eventually
turn into starters for them so he has
enough of the core traits and attributes
to be able to get on the field it’s not
polished it’s not perfect right now but
what he has are the necessary physical
tools that you hope in time with
coaching he’ll be able to hold his on on
the perimeter
yeah I I really liked him and rasid
Walker they did a nice job with him at
Penn State they think they’ve got a a
future starter over there right now um I
really like what they do with with
different players I like what Buffalo is
doing no who is Will rard he’s going to
the vik uh Vikings just so will rard has
kicked in a ton of high leverage
situations SEC Championship Games he’s
kicked in you know college football
playoff games he’s a consistent ball
Striker gets good lift very very quickly
strikes it the same way every single
time um he did miss a a 50 he did Miss
in that incredible game the hinden
hooker game with Jaylen Wyatt he missed
a kick that would have won that game
against Tennessee the Tennessee came
back and upset him um he doesn’t he’s
not like a booming Drive kicker so he’s
not like a booming leg but he is almost
basically up underneath 40 yards it’s a
rep he is going to absolutely make it
give me cash what’s up none fans Make
some noise
that’s what I’m talking about okay well
everyone my name is JZ and Gera from
Brooklyn New York but everyone knows me
as
Jazzy I’m here living my dream as a
reporter at the NFL draft and my dream
is really to well I just want to make
sure that everyone across the world also
follow their dreams like
me
and make sure you guys check out Jazz’s
World
TV2 on behalf of Toyota the official
Automotive partner of the
NFL I’m here to salute the next
generation of
superstars so with the 204th pick in the
2024 NFL draft the Buffalo Bill select
tyin grael tackle from Central Florida
thank
you Jazzy delivering Brooklyn what good
stand up yeah all right greel um by the
way kns just the kns Bucky so we just we
just nice I’ve learned I don’t want to
get chastised about the golden knce
anymore but I think it’s phenomenal this
guy didn’t allow any sacks in all those
attempts and when you think about this
offense and where we are right now
developmental prospects that have the
characteristics that typically lead to
long-term success he has that you think
about his arm length ability play don’t
know if he can go out there and play on
the edge forever but he might be just
good enough to give you some spot starts
and that is enough to be a swing player
in this league yeah I’m kind of I’m kind
of surprised he’s lasted this long
because his athletic Prof profile is
pretty good like he really worked out
well at the combine um I’ve got a 59 on
him which is a standard backup roll
usually it’s a fifth round pick and you
know he’s I’m looking at all my notes on
him he’s got the ability to ride guys
around the rush Ark he’s got the smooth
pass slides foot quickness to become a
better move Blocker in the future big
strong hands clinch and stable Iz run
Defenders my grade on him and based on
the strengths and some of the weaknesses
I’m looking at that’s a make it player
and when you’re a tackle who can
potentially swing back and forth that’s
even more value if you can play like we
talked about earlier if you’re a right
tackle only that’s a problem now but if
you can play two tackle spots and you’ve
got an athletic profile that’s you can
you can potentially stick around even as
a
[Music]
sixth-rounder with the
205th pick in the 2024 NFL draft the
Houston Texans select Ruan Jordan
running back
lville okay I got you anytime you start
dealing with running backs for an
outside Zone scheme team their board’s
going to look way different than
everyone else’s boards just to be honest
with you I’ve got him as a a priority
free agent I was more interested in
Isaac guando who came from the same
school but once you have Bobby slck in
there and that scheme and the Mike came
from the Mike Shanahan Kyle Shanahan
School of coaching and Sean mcah all
these guys they see running backs a
little bit different he’s he doesn’t
what they’re probably looking at here is
this is going to be our new Devon single
T single came in did a really nice job
uh for the Houston Texans last year he’s
got same kind of size similar wiggle
Cleveland their pick is
[Applause]
in with the 206th pick in the 2024 NFL
draft
the Cleveland Browns select Nathaniel
Watson linebacker Mississippi
[Applause]
State I don’t know you you guys yeah you
guys may call him Nathaniel Watson but
I’m going to call him bookie Watson cuz
that’s what if you know him you can call
him bookie Watson I don’t know him but I
feel like I do after watching his tape I
mean he was only at he was only in
college for six full years um I thought
bookie Watson would be a fifth round
pick so I think this is a good value
selection here 31 tackles for lost 20
sacks since the start of the 21 season
he’s making plays he gets downhill and
attacks and and typically Mississippi
State ask that of their linebackers they
let him get down there in the muck and
go make some plays he’s patient not to
overcommit while reading he doesn’t get
caught up behind a lot of uh a lot of
trash um only 35 solo tackles out of 137
total in 2023
that I mean that’s all posy no Sheriff
you I want to see him get there and and
do his own business more production more
more finishing skills because that is
that is a part of the evaluation can you
finish the down I always like more solos
a higher number of solo tackles than
assisted no we’ll go to Detroit here in
just a couple moments here I know you
you wanted to love up the Raiders
selection we ran in braak we get an
opportunity to talk talk about the
running back from Dyan Lobby is he went
to the Senior Bowl man I had a lot of
fun watching him Dylan Lobby went to New
Hampshire and you’re going to see the
running back tape here and it’s nice uh
very he looks like a fireman when you
see him in person looks like like a you
know a guy who’s got a family and two
kids um great to talk to he awesome his
favorite player was Mike allot growing
up cuz that was his dad’s favorite
player he wore a neck roll in high
school he was a neck roll guy in high
school look NE roll I didn’t wear one
but I wish I did I wi in Little League
yeah I well neck roll is a move right
now now R in jpads now what I really
like about him though is he spent a
whole spring learning route like just
route running so that he could dominate
people with routes and this guy is a
bill bellich special except bill bich is
not coaching now he’s going to be a real
problem out there running routes as
right before that I don’t want to Short
Change Mike Gerald tackle from Finley
he’s former basketball player um near
nowhere near I did write him up nowhere
near being ready he’s a probably a
practice squad guy Josh cardi uh was the
pick right now very solid kicker has big
leg can the NFL loves 50 plus legs and
he’s got the 50 plus leg we will take
the Boomer with the 210th pick in a
2024 historic Detroit Lions draft the
Detroit Li select Christian mahogany
guard Boston
[Applause]
College Chris mahogany is uh had a good
East West shrine game a lot of people
loved him buck you saw him East West
he’s had some injuries which are
something that have slowed him down he’s
he’s a big physical guy um who is really
going to be more t to the to the phone
booth a little bit but he’s tough I mean
in the phone booth he can do some damage
to you now if we want to if we want to
start scrapping and that’s kind of what
he does is he pushes people around on
the double teams and along the interior
um it’s just a matter of I think he’s
going to have to from a body type
standpoint you want to improve the body
composition that’s something that is big
with a lot of teams and offensive line
coaches but he’s made right there you
see him getting around the corner he’s
made for um heavy conflict he’s made for
that conflict between the tackles so
he’s a conflict guard and that’s I just
invented that term so if you want to use
that you can he’s a conflict guard
between the tackles in the phone booth
that’s who he is he’s not going to be
outside a whole lot in the on the next
level I feel like I’m more of like a
conflict uh resolution type talk
conflict resolution one of those dudes
um hey we will go to Detroit here in
just a couple moments here I know you
you wanted to love up the Raiders
selection we ran break we get an
opportunity to talk talk about the
running back from Lobby is he went to
the Senior Bowl man I had a lot of fun
watching him Dylan Lobby went to New
Hampshire and you going to see the
running back tape here and it’s nice uh
very he looks like a fireman when you
see him in person looks like a you know
a guy who’s got a family and two kids um
great to talk to he awesome his favorite
player was Mike allot growing up cuz
that was his dad’s favorite player he
wore a neck roll in high school oh he
was a neck roll guy in high school look
at NE roll I didn’t wear one but I wish
I did I we one in Little League yeah I
neck roll is a move right now now in JP
now what I really like about him though
is he spent a whole spring learning
route like just route running so that he
could dominate people with routes and
this guy is a bill bellich special
except bill bich is not coaching now
he’s going to be a real problem out
there running routes Kamal Haden is a
player with uh a lot of ability there
was you know there’s some some questions
about maturity which is why he fell here
but Kamal had and you can see all the
PFF grades and all that that’s that’s
really great two-time leader
interceptions at the school he is a
talented player who’s got to become more
mature but this is one of those those
those picks that Andy Reed can swing on
because they’ve got a lot of success
they’ve got leadership in the locker
room and Bucky you know if you don’t
have a good locker room and you take on
guys with a maturity issue that can
really become a Force multiplier in a
negative way in your room but the flip
side of that is if you have leadership
you can take take on some players with
Talent yeah no it really matters and the
Character Matters and the chemistry and
the uh the way that all the pieces of
the puzzle fit that’s why you have those
visits not just to assess them on the
board or whatever but to see how do they
fit with everyone in the locker room you
talk about a guy with a great
personality all that other stuff it
should fit the Kansas City chief
certainly having caching that can take
on all comers and his work for them over
the past few years I would expect it to
continue to work as long as inter is do
with the 212th pick in the 2024 NFL
draft the Jacksonville Jaguars select
Cam little kicker Arkansas
th this is starting to feel like my
fantasy draft towards the end you get
the run on the kickers and that’s
exactly what we are in store for what
did we say that was third in how many
picks uh one nine picks believe seven
eight nine third third no 10 third out
of the last 10 third out of the last 10
30% of the draft right now over the at
least that’s how it’s trending the last
10 here’s the thing about the Jaguars in
the kicking iname Jaguars have not had
consistent uh kickers last three or four
years it’s cost them games it changes
the way that you have to call the game
as a play caller what they would like is
someone that is Nails whenever the ball
gets to the 30 35 yard line you can try
them out there and knock it in they
haven’t had that and it’s really costing
because now you have to be more
aggressive down the red zone that leades
to more turnovers takes points away if
the Jaguars are going to maximize their
potential as a playoff Contender they
need a consistent a rock solid kicker in
place hopefully all of this local energy
transfers into a local Super Bowl
championship for the Detroit
Lions with the 23 pick in the 2024 NFL
draft the Los Angeles Rams select Jordan
Winnington wide receiver Texas
congratulations I like him I like him
got good size plays to a size he doesn’t
play like a little finesse guy Bucky he
says look I’m supposed to play in the
middle I’ll take on you know I’ll run
over the middle you want to hit me go
ahead and hit me but I’m going to keep
coming in here um he displays a good
feel for Route structure and how he’s
going to run his routes you see right
there gave you a little shake and go he
can change up speeds on you he’s not
going to be the fastest wide receiver
out there he’s not going to be the best
athlete athlete but he’s tough and he’ll
also block thank you to the NFL and the
Cincinnati Bengals for the honor of
representing all Bango fans around the
world and to all the fans around the NFL
especially our rivals in the AFC North
and the Kansas City Chiefs fans get
ready for the return of the NFL’s best
player Joe shyy
[Music]
bur and to help him bring a championship
to
Cincinnati with the
214th pick in the 2024 NFL draft
the Cincinnati Bengals select Cedric
Johnson defensive end
Mississippi
H
H first of all Bucky how about the
baiton switch I you got them all hyped
up with the 313 stuff and then he rolled
them right into an Ohio he let us in
some some B- Rabbit lyrics I was ready
to go and then he OED them well let’s
talk about Cedric Johnson he is a true
NFL framed defensive end he’s got the
size and power of of a defensive end
he’s not the he’s not the most fluid
pass rusher he’s more of a stack and
shed set the set the tone at the at the
point of attack um but you know that’s
his strength it’s not going to be as a
rusher picks coming Fast and Furious
what up
Niners woo I see you
Detroit first thank you to the NFL for
helping inds bring Justice to those
furthest from it and now for the
215th pick of the 2024 NFL draft the San
Francisco 49ers select Jared Kingston
tackle
[Applause]
USC you say tackle I’m going to say
guard at USC at least that’s where he’s
going to play 37 career starts as you
see there um at Washington State got it
done they brought him into the transfer
portal brought him back over play with
good punch ready hands he plays the game
with um you know whoever’s taught him
has done a nice job from a from a pass
set standpoint he plays with good
technique uses good grip strength moves
his feet kind of a narrow base power
Zone type of blocker so there’s some
limitations there Dallas fans let’s pay
[Applause]
attention with the 216th pick in the
2024 NFL DFT draft the Dallas Cowboys
select Ryan lenoy wide receiver
Southeast
[Applause]
Missouri with the 217th pick in the 2024
NFL draft the Los Angeles Rams select Bo
limmer Center
Arkansas all
right so some backtack picks here to get
us on time on our coverage here on draft
Center presented by FedEx let’s Circle
back on the Dallas Cowboys going skill
and grabbing a wi out yeah the Cowboys
this is on brand for them like we just
talked about uh a team like in the
Warren buffer thing where it’s all big
names brand names the Cowboys aren’t
that they’re penny stocks they’re like
to get the guys from the small schools
and give them a chance and so what
you’re seeing is an opportunity to do
that like when I looked up Ryan floro
it’s little small little small school
they they brought somebody in last year
was it was it Tober Little W jayen Tober
jayen Tober they brought him in so
they’re they’re trying they’re really
into developmental types they want to
bring him in so sixth round pick he’ll
get an opportunity to come I still think
I think he’s a poor man Xavier Legette
honestly I I really liked him with the
senior boy he’s got good traits he’s
very competitive um I like him I also
like bo limmer bo Limer you know a lot
of people will talk about B lmer had he
got bullied by tandre sweat at a Senior
Bowl rep and this is the worst for
centers who get beat up by guys who are
about 60 lbs heavier and everyone like
oh they never forget that rep they act
like that’s the only rep you ever had
last left a lasting image man I know
it’s like turt but you knew the cameras
are going to be on tadre sweat but Bo
limmer can play guard Bo Limer can play
center he plays a little bit upright but
I thought there were times his tape was
even better than Ricky Stromberg who got
drafted earlier uh and a year before as
a center Bo lmer can play guard and
center but the thing I like about him is
he he plays with good strength and push
at the point of attack this his testing
his testing was insane at the combine I
got to pull it up uh Mike if you can
pull it up his testing there were some
numbers in there I remember thinking
that this is not right I think it was
his vertical and his broad jump no his
vertical and his bench press I think he
was over 34 in vertical and 34 reps in
and well here he is is bench with
39 by the way most among all players
what was his vertical vertical was 36
and a half in the those are insane
numbers for a center a 36 and 1/2 in
vertical and 39 reps Bucky what are we
are are we explosive off the ground or
are we powerful I guess he’s both we
want we want to be explosive off the
ground wouldn’t be powerful all that
this guy loves the Joker he watched that
movie so many times hello
Detroit you had one shot and you knocked
it out of the park quick shout out to my
beautiful wife cam Hawk
with a 218th pick in the
20 24 NFL draft the Baltimore Ravens
select Devin Larry quarterback Kentucky
let’s
go you got to hang with him right East
West he’s an East West Ry guy and also a
player that unfortunately had a lot of
dropped uh passes oh he did have a lot
of drop passes bounc around was at NC
State then made his way to Kentucky
before that coming out of uh new Jersey
prolific passer all-timer when it comes
to throwing a r the ball all over the
yard goes NC State you see some big
games you see him make some big plays
when you watch him at the East West
Shrine Bowl Big Time arm Talent you can
hear the ball whizzing past the ears of
Defenders the issue that you had last
couple Seasons the inconsistency some of
that’s through Supporting Cast some of
that was his own injuries this is a very
talented player he goes to Baltimore
once again I tell you Baltimore more
just sticks to trying to take really
good players and not worrying about all
the other stuff he’s a little undersized
for the position but the talent
certainly is do yeah and the arm Talent
he’s got a whip as Bucky mentioned I
mean and one of the things I liked about
it on tape like there’s little flashes
where I go maybe he’s got a shot he
attacks intermediate throws which are
pro throws with great decisiveness when
he rolls out and he’s on the move the
the accuracy actually goes up so there’s
some elements to his game that I think
need to be they’re a little unbridled
that if they can get it you know really
Compact and dialed in there might be
something there you just moments ago
Buffalo Bills dayquan Hardy now he’s a
corner at Penn State but you can see
there two punt returns for a touchdown
leading the country in that statistical
category can’t help but think preaching
what you guys have been been throwing
out there special teams really
significant yeah it’s going to come back
it’s going to come back in a major way
this is a guy that’s Dynamic with the
ball in his hands he can make it happen
in the return game but it’s also a
pretty good nickel Corner sha mcder this
defense they have to replace a bunch of
subpackage Defenders so maybe dayquan
starts as a returner and makes his way
onto the field as a subpackage Defender
a nickol down Defender yeah I mean it’s
a punt return pick to me um doesn’t have
great size I think the corner tape is um
average at best but man when you see the
ball in his hands and he gets rolling
he’s got some ability now so you can
change third phase you can you can
change the course of a game with third
phase stuff if you can if you’re a good
uh punt returner so I think that’s why
he’s drafted here what’s up
Detroit Buck Germany’s in the house baby
with the 220th Pig of the 2024 NFL draft
the Tempa Bay Buccaneer select Elijah
Klein guard Texas Al Paso go
bux Elijah Klein here oh man I like this
guy a lot I I’m not I thought people
really were sleeping on Elijah Klein I
I’ve got
well I got to see what my grade is on
him but Elijah Klein to me is is a very
solid run blocker he you see the the
numbers don’t the athletic numbers
aren’t great but Elijah Klein has the
ability to really play with good hands
he gets into his blocks well he he’s
good at getting around the corner on on
pulling plays on power plays I like how
his hand resets are very very good my
man Duke Manny weather one of his guys
and plays with right there the short
pull bang gets around the corner and
look at how he’s built he’s got the
broad shoulder I tell you who he reminds
me of Josh SS you remember Josh SS who
plays in the league Josh SS kind of came
out of nowhere in the sixth round I
remember watching tape on him and I
thought man this is a good player Elijah
Klein to me is another one of those guys
it’s a really solid player I had a 59
grade on him which is fifth round
caliber player so um I I like the pick
here by Tampa

  1. 8:44 Malik Washington led FBS in catches, was fourth in receiving yards, 1st team All ACC, and 2nd team AP All-American. For a terrible Virginia team

If he was 6'1 instead of 5'9, he would have been gone well before the sixth round

  2. Skip, Barton is a good player 10/12 year or more career in NF.L. as a starter but Guyton has way more upside than Barton to be All pro at the position and he lets Dallas keep Tyler at LG. Bigger and stronger than Barton More athletic. Rated 27 best player in Lance Zerleins top 300 prospects . Minns was 26. Barton, JPJ. Rated in the 30's. Many doubted Tyler and he has turned out quite well at LT as a rookie ALL PRO AS LG. 2ND YEAR.
