  1. Michael hall Jr is a A pick

Zinter is a bit of a question for me. I’ll give berry a B for the pick. He has upside

The 5th round pick and behind isn’t gradeable to me. If they work out it’s a bonus. If they don’t no harm done. Thrash has a chance to be a steal, same with Watson.

The jerry jeudy trade is apart of this drafts evaluation. So I’ll excuse them for not taking a wr in this draft (although now it’s imperative that you take one first or second round next year)

No offensive tackle and drafting a guard makes me think they will bring back wills for an extension ( for the right price) and either bitonio retires after this year or teller is gone. I think this because you want a offensive linemen to have a year to learn before putting them out there.

Interested to see what they do in udfa market

  2. Love Hall, like Zinter, Thrash is growing on me, fine with no RB, really like Watson as SAM and potential as MIKE, think Harden and Briggs will be hopeful PS stashes.

Don’t love no TE so that’s my highest priority in UDFA.

All in all a very unspectacular draft but that’s fine, 2 picks that will make expensive positions younger and a upside WR that can calmly develop.

UDFA priorities are the Memphis RB, Coker from Holy Cross and Brevyn Spann-Ford at TE

  3. Mel Kiper looks like a zooted dwarf wearing a corpse suit, wearing an expensive suit.

If Mel’s head tilted back and his mouth opened up… I would expect 37 stray cats and a raccoon to pop out the elastic orifice.

Mel Kiper is what happened when Pinocchio grew up, and became a republican.

Mel Kiper is actually an animatronic statue, that escaped Madame Tussauds, became an alcoholic and got sober by smoking meth.

  4. My main complaint over the last 2 decades is when our Management approached things like they were the smartest people to ever walk in a room.

    HUBRIS

The thing is, they weren’t… and it was 100% obvious, to anyone with a trained eye, the foolish moves they were making.

The NFL Draft has been my Super Bowl for 2 decades, as I’m sure it has for others here. I either try to completely ignore it, or I hyperfocus on it for a month straight… I’m not good at moderation.

I came into this Draft after studying at least 230 picks, doing hundreds of mocks…

I came into this Draft with utmost confidence in Andrew Berry and his Team of analysts… Stef, Schwartz, Vrabel… I expected so very much more, and we got so much less.

It wasn’t a disaster, we had a bunch of late picks. The odds are very low that these day 3 players will be starters, and OUR Cleveland Browns Roster is absolutely stacked to the gills.

I was, and still am entirely confused by a few of our picks. I look for the analytics we associate with our Front Office Philosophy in these picks, and feel like I’m in Bizarro world.

The main issue I have is that there were plenty of Highly talented Prospects available, that we passe right over.

We got 2 solid guys, 1 that will redshirt (at least), and some guys that I can’t explain.

Refusing to trade into the 4th Round for Devontez Walker was willfully stubborn. The cost vs reward was massively stacked towards trading in… We stood pat, Troy Franklin was too small, and we draft Thrash? How many ~~tiny~~ slot receivers do we need?

In all, this Draft gave me massive Bill Belichick, the later years, vibe. Taking UDFA level players because we think that all it takes is being a genius to reinvent the wheel. The wheel is *”the wheel”* for a reason. Just like the pyramids are still around, because that’s the most stable way to stack rocks.

RAS Scores mean nothing by themselves, they don’t play football. Football players do. But I have played sports, and fought out of my weight class enough in life to understand how outmatched a 4.6 guy is vs a 4.49 guy. I’ve lifted enough weight to know that the IRON absolutely never lies to you, because it woke up every single day of existence without a single fuck to give for us. 225lbs is 225lbs wherever you go.

I get that following guardrails is more difficult the later on the rounds go… But we did a lot of Cole Stranger Things today.

    ^(…I’ll be fine tomorrow…)

  5. So far with all the udfa signings we have 86 out of 90 roster spots filled for camp. We had 74 before the draft, 6 picks makes 80 and so far the Browns have signed 6 udfa

  6. Needless to say, I think we can all agree that we are all pretty glad to be done with the last of the drafts without a first rounder lol

Going to need to figure out a TE solution because we are beyond fucked if Njoku goes down

  7. SI says we signed RB Aidan Robbins out of BYU but I don’t see him on ESPN at all. Anybody got a read on him?

Edit: Same with CB Dyshawn Gales from SDSU

  8. This team doesn’t really have any holes. This draft was more for depth purposes and developmental guys. We’ll see how many of these picks make the team.
