Shotgun approach to TE. I like it.
Can’t wait for the TE warriors to bitch now. With that being said I have no clue who this guy is.
I don’t understand double-dipping TEs.
The fact that they haven’t even drafted a lotto ticket for the IOL is incredible.
I’m happy with our double dips at DT and TE. I think those are good spots to platoon the squad.

A little surprised I figured they would have picked an interior o lineman by now. Maybe just a stash on the practice squad considering they already have Sample Hudson Gesicki and All. Hudson Sample and Gesicki are essentially all on 1 year deals so just looking to the future I guess. I realize Sample has a 3 year deal but they can easily get out of it after 1 year.

so we have 6 TEs now?
I saw some of his highlights and he honestly looked similar to Uzomah during his last season with the Bengals. Smooth running, breaks tackles, good hands, not great or crisp route running but adequate. I haven’t seen his specific testing numbers, but his RAS was pretty mediocre, so he’s probably not going to be a star, but he definitely has a shot to be another in a long line of adequate TEs the Bengals have taken late.
EDIT: Just saw his specific RAS, he had a terrible agility (shuttle/cones) score that lowered his overall rating. Good 40 and vertical is promising and his bench is good enough that he’ll likely be able to block.
How many TE’s will they even carry? They already signed 2 to a deal.
As a wildcats fan, this guy is absolutely awesome. Excellent tackle breaking and very very solid routes. I can absolutely see him having a decent sized role in the offense as the season progresses.
He had core muscle surgery after his pro day and that’s why he dropped. Good for us, he can play.

Double dip at TE should’ve happened last year but in Duke we trust. Anyone else want us to go Guard or Center more often?
At least they figured out how to turn in a card for tight end. They have upgraded that position substantially this off season. Not the exact players I wanted, but upgraded none the less. I must say job well done.
