  2. In the past 2 drafts kahn and weidl have gotten us jones, joey porter jr, herbig, benton, washington, frazier, fautanu, wilson and wilson. These guys have destroyed the draft and given us a boatload of high end talent that is going to help us significantly next season. 

  7. It’d be nice instead of rolling people, they score more than 21 points a game. Takes a bunch of pressure off the vaunted defense.

  9. Yeah, but if you run the ball well enough and control the ball long enough, you can win a lot of games by scoring 21–24 points per game. Especially when you have a good defense.

    I still don’t love our corner situation and we are still too thin along the defensive line. Also, we’re going to need to add another receiver at some point, and slide Roman Wilson inside.

    Still, they appear to have done an excellent job this weekend.

  15. A more honest answer from Tomlin to the question: “we drafted the way we did because after going on 14 years with only 3 playoff wins, and 0 in the last 7 years, I’m no longer allowed to give input on roster decisions.”

  17. If he wants to roll people then he needs to get rid of Pat Meyers.

    Despite his flaws at pass protection Dan Moore is a tenacious run blocker if schemed correctly. That “independent hands” shit isn’t the solution.
