RAS, for those who don’t know, stands for Relative Athletic Score. It shows how a player tested athletically as a percentile relative to their position. Example would be a score of 7.50 would mean they tested in the 75th percentile.
We better load up on UDFAs. Seems like every recent year more and more great talent comes out of the undrafted player pool.
Steelers fan coming in peace but I wrote a scouting report on Joe Shimko. Not many out there that highlight long snappers, even in draft guides. Undersized but really consistent and generally hits the mark on velocity/timing. His HC called him the best snapper he’s ever had.
If you want to nerd out and watch some snaps, or learn about what his dad did for a living and how Shimko became a snapper in the first place, my report is below.
