That Leafs core needs a big change, let’s see if they’ll allow Brad to send someone away or if it’s just status quo for the third year straight.
lol imagine watching that game and blaming Tre. The core 4 were fucking brutal. Dubas and shanahan built that team and left the cupboards bare for the next few years with absolutely no success to show for it. I think you got to actually give Tre another offseason to see what actual changes he makes.
That Tavares signing should be a lesson to every other team. Marner, Willy, and Matthews led the team in points before Tavares showed up and were putting up 60+ points on ELCs.
Since Tavares signed, he’s never led the team in points but basically paved the way for UFA-like contracts for 24yr olds on that team.
