  1. If I was a Leafs player I’d have a hard time staying motivated with this fucking fanbase smh

  2. God forbid the real estate tycoon sitting in the lower bowl is unhappy because his client isn’t getting a good show!

In all seriousness it sucks real fans are being priced out, despite the on ice product

  3. Ouch… that’s not even just a couple of boobirds either. That’s like 2/3rds of the stadium

  4. Paying that kind of money to have a bunch of professional athletes lay an egg like that… yeah they deserve the booing

  5. Surely they will be making a big change to this roster no? It’s clear the core 4 is not working

  6. A team built for a great season. Come playoff time they expect something different than the norm without making much changes, it’ll just keep on repeating like this

  7. Just a bunch of suits and ties in there that even the booing is coming out as weak.

  8. The performance of the Leafs is a reflection of Toronto culture. It’s been a wake up call to myself and what I need to correct in my life and about myself.

If after half a century of failure and particularly the last 8 years of squandering the best draft talent this city (maybe any NHL team ever) has had, you can’t get a hint that somethings seriously wrong, then you are doomed to repeat. It reflects issues with Toronto culture.

I got the message last season very clearly.

(I grew up in Toronto as a Leafs fan and left at an early age to pursue my profession and business in much more competitive markets. I see something about the Leafs and Toronto culture that most fans might miss).

  9. Even the boos are pretty lukewarm… sometimes, I hate to be supporting this team. The fans are being priced out, the team not giving a shit, poor coaching – wasting the years of a generational talent.

And the ticket situation pisses me off the most.

  10. It took Ovechkin 14 seasons to win a Cup. Auston Mathews has plenty of time.
