This Day in Kings’ History (2014): Kings draw even with the Sharks after facing a 3-0 series deficit


On April 28, 2014, the Kings became the ninth team in NHL history to force a Game 7 after facing a 3-0 series deficit. Justin Williams and Anze Kopitar both scored two goals, and Jonathan Quick made 25 saves in a 4-1 win versus the San Jose Sharks.

  3. I bought tickets to this game on accident. I thought I bought game 3 but I bought home game 3.

    Show up and they tell us we don’t have tickets. Super bummed, we lose the game. Then when it miraculously goes to a game 6?!? Best sport event I have ever attended in person.
