Of all pro sports, the NBA has the worst group of referees. I’m almost confident someone in that group is doing shady crap on the side.
The NBA is definitely pushing Jokic… these are some soft calls and a lot of these are in the fourth quarter too!
It’s actually so egregious, I’m pretty sure the team has complained to the league too so I don’t even know what we could do about it now ☹️
The last time Jokic got a bad whistle was when he picked 2 quick fouls against us in game 5 in the bubble. Ever since, the NBA has allowed Jokic to get away with whatever he wants.
Jokic always does that stiff chicken wing when defending the post and never gets called for it. Swipes down, hits arm, and refs just say, “play on”
This is just from Game 4 by the way. There are a lot more call like these that the Nuggets get in the other games too.
Obviously, that last foul on LeBron occurred after the ball left his hands. According to the refs, after the ball is out of a player’s hands, you’re allowed to clobber them. /s
I’ve never seen anything like the favoritism the refs have towards Jokic, Joel and Giannis. It’s disgusting.
For years the excuse for LeBron not getting calls was his size but these dudes are all bigger than him and get the softest calls ever.
That one play where Lebron crossed Jokic and Murray and they both held him for a few seconds and ref didn’t bother. Made me so mad. You touch Jokic or Murray it’s automatic whistle
I know this shit is bad when people on r/nba are on the lakers side. The no call on Lebron that led to an Aaron Gordon lob was disgusting. Obviously the no call on DLo was as well. Nuggets fans are still delusional af and think the refs are biased towards the lakers, it’s sad af
I don’t agree there is a conspiracy but i do think refs officiate the way they do to keep the games close and entertaining for prime time. No coincidence they started giving Denver every whistle possible when we were up by 20 in game 2 or as this past game showed when we were up by 10 in the 4th.
If AD and Bron got fair calls, one of them would be MVP

Adam silver needs a public flogging for letting the state of officiating become so biased and poor quality
This is the main reason for the 0-3. Plus they take the time to acknowledge the wrong decision.
You should look at Game 2 that’s the one that was rigged for Denver. Constant non-calls on major collisions in the restricted areas and infamously that Dlo slap to the face being called “marginal”. While on the other end Jamal Murray going to the line after Lebron just handchecked him to tie the game 97-97.
