Rittich has actually been incredible at home. Can’t be worse than Talbot’s 5.3 GAA. I don’t think a lot of the goals have been his fault, but at the same time, I haven’t seen him step up and make many huge saves when we’ve needed them.
Edit: Since Hiller took over, at home Talbot has a 2.34 GAA and .920 save % in 12 games. Dave Rittich has a 0.83 GAA and a .968 save % in 6 games including our only win against Edmonton in the regular season, a 4-0 shutout.
Glad to see we are trying at least something different
Hopefully defense can help him out.

If BSD can turn this around for the Kings and they win the series with him in net, I will buy TWO of his jerseys. One for my rotation of game jerseys, that I will never retire and a second to frame and put in my office, where it will never come down.
Well maybe the defense will get the message to clean up the crease.
Wanted him to start from the beginning of the series, we’re making the same mistake as last season: start the coldest goalie.
I know Copley’s stats (save% / GAA) weren’t that great last season, but somehow the team won in front of him (24-6-3). Starting Korpisalo despite a run of bad games before playoffs started was such a dumb decision.
Probably the right call, but we also need to score more than 1 goal tonight.

Hopefully this sparks the team to play a bit better.

This has really not been Talbot’s fault but I think he’s showing that he’s unable to save the Kings out of their defensive disaster and penalties. Might as well see if Riddich can although I’m not sure anyone could. Riddich’s numbers are so good though we have to give him a chance to be a superhero.
