  1. Makes more and more sense as to why they kept inching back while still attempting to get their guy. Money is tight whether you like it or not. Get your guy and save over 4 mill? What’s to lose?

  2. and if he pans out we just extend him instead of the 5th year, or franchise him but i can’t remember the last time we did that.

  3. 5th year option doesn’t make sense on a guy like Keon, if he’s good you wanna lock him down as soon as possible because the market is always rising.

  4. Saved money and took a 3rd rounder away from KC. Beane said they would have gotten him anyway, so it made sense to make the trade. We didn’t want him, Beane wanted Coleman so trading back and getting our guy, picking up more picks which landed us with the DT. Everything worked in our favor unless Coleman is a bust.

  5. I’d like to give props to my buddy who called this as the reasoning, about 2 minutes after Beane traded out of the first.

No, said friend isn’t Beane himself lol

  6. From a Panthers fan I just wanted to say thanks Bills. Rumor has it Pats wanted to trade to 32 and probably would have drafted Legette.

    Good luck this season!
