5th year option doesn’t make sense on a guy like Keon, if he’s good you wanna lock him down as soon as possible because the market is always rising.
Saved money and took a 3rd rounder away from KC. Beane said they would have gotten him anyway, so it made sense to make the trade. We didn’t want him, Beane wanted Coleman so trading back and getting our guy, picking up more picks which landed us with the DT. Everything worked in our favor unless Coleman is a bust.
