  1. Somewhere around a B is probably fair. Some of the I don’t completely understand some of the o-line selections but I’m hoping I’m wrong!

  2. I like the way we approached the draft but these grades are meaningless. Basically depends on whether Maye will pan out or not.

  3. lol Falcons. Everyone is shitting on them and then SI goes:

  4. For the Chiefs draft to be rated that high with the shit picks they had, like wow. We need their scouting team.

  5. The aggregate is kind of meaningless. Anybody have a round-by-round grading? Cause Baker was an excellent pick, Polk was not.

  6. Yeah, I’d like to see how accurate these grades have been historically.

Maybe they should have a grade for these “experts” so we can tell how full of shit they are going to be.

  7. None of this bullshit means anything.

Watch as the Falcons win NFCS this year and we end up 2nd in AFCE

  8. I just think the Falcons are hilarious and I’m so happy Belichick didn’t sign on.

  9. It’s crazy how wildly different the opinions are on the OT they drafted from Penn, some said “you gotta take him at that spot” and other call it a reach

  10. Sincerely appreciate the effort and it’s fun to look at. But can’t help but find these rankings an odd process. Some of these base this off of “value and reaches” from deviation of the concensus rankings where in reality, the only concensus that matters is who actually gets picked.

The mock draft consensus has zero impact on who actually get picked and the sites/writers adjust their rankings based on what they hear from teams to try to be more accurate to the real thing. Yet they give bad grades to teams who deviate too far from their guess of… the real thing? It makes zero sense to me.

Not to mention these rankings aren’t on size fits all; everyone runs different schemes. A high ranked first round value player in one ranking may be far lower on another team’s list due to poor scheme fit, or vice versa. It’s hard to rank before players actually play.
