I can’t stand announcers that aren’t Todd, Blummer, and Julia. They’ve spoiled me. That’s all. I’m watching the Mexico replay because I just got home, and I want my people to talk to me , not these ESPN commentators. They have some interesting things to say but no magic like our crew.

I second this. ESPN crew today was pretty terrible. Then the constant interviews in the middle of innings was annoying. I might be nitpicking but I love our crew and we’re spoiled. Kalas is the voice of the stros to me.
Yeah remember was still bitter about Blum helping to beat us in 05 then he returned to the team after and cheered for him and then he went and became an announcer and as soon as that win 17 came I don’t have anymore bad feelings for him and Todd is exceptional and who doesn’t love Julia
If it ever came out (I doubt it would) that they didn’t really like each other I would be traumatized and could never love again
Brownie, JD, and Patti smith will always be my favorite probably because I grew up with them, but I do enjoy this trio a lot. I listen to other teams broadcasters often and a lot of them are so bootyhurt when they lose and have so many awkward silences and hate on opposing teams and fans. Especially the Tigers and Angels, their broadcasting team is AWFUL.
They’re my favorite broadcasters, especially considering TK and Blum know the game very well and know a lot of Astros and general baseball history, so it’s fun learning about stuff too
