Reminder that our new starting linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair went undrafted before becoming a starter for San Francisco

Linebackers Dre Greenlaw & Fred Warner were drafted in the 5th and 3rd round respectively.
Demeco is going to continue to develop Henry T and turn Jamal Hill into a solid player here for Houston. Just like he did for Christian Harris

Henry T struggled mightily against the pass last year, teams actively targeted him. There is still hope of course that Demeco can still turn into him into a solid starter.
Hill isn’t ever going to be a starting linebacker. He’s just too undersized and undisciplined, but he will be an amazing gunner. Has a real shot to be the best special teams player this year for us.
Greenlaw and Warner are some DAWGS. If we can get that same level of success from later round talent I’ll never scoff at it.
