Ovechkin shoulders the ‘blame’ for Capitals’ ouster

Worst team in playoffs loses to best team in playoffs…

Ovi turned this season around and got us to the playoffs, even if he claims fault for us losing out, it’s not warranted
I knew it was Wyshynski before I even clicked. He’s always been a hater ass bitch when it comes to the Caps.
Avs fan coming in peace. First I must say the caps outexceeded expectations by even making the PO. They were sellers at deadline yet still made a respectable push and got in as last wildcard team. With that said, I must say Ovi disappeared completely in playoffs. He looked like he didn’t care one bit about this series and just glided around the ice. Do you guys have any info if he was injured or he literally just gave 0 effort and just wanted to get golfing faster? Cause he looked completely different during the final push for playoff spot and he seemed to care a lot more then. Does it have anything to do with the fact that playoff goals don’t count for the record he is chasing?
He was shooting at what 4% in the 1st half of the season. Went to ride a camel and went on a heater for the whole 2nd half. He looked like he was out of gas by the playoffs because it took so much energy to even get there.
They listed him at 238. I hope he takes this off-season seriously. Lose about 10 pounds and let’s get this record next season and maybe a playoff spot
Ovechkin and Carlson were the only 2 players for Washington to play in this series with a cap hit over $6m.
