I can see why someone would think it was bad if they really don’t like Nix pick at 12. Some of the other picks are a little weird for the kind of players they are and who is already on the roster at their positions too.
I assume the Estime and Abrams-Draine picks are the only ones that these guys will be mostly positive about, but they are irrelevant and just trying to get their clicks before next draft season.

I don’t get the hate the broncos are getting by taking nix at 12. Was it a reach maybe but they had no 2nd round pick and let’s be honest the raiders were more than likely going to take him at 13. Then we would have heard about how ridiculous the broncos were to not draft a QB and I’m sure something about Sean Payton’s ego because he thinks he’s a super coach who can get the most of of Stidham or Wilson. Damned if you do damned if you don’t but how about we wait until after the season to grade teams drafts.
Reminder that everyone shat all over the Chiefs for “reaching” for Mahomes at 10. They were getting a lot of C and D grades for that pick.
How do you call ours a bad draft? We filled almost every big position of need (well, except for maybe TE and DL), and we got several steals in Franklin and Estime while we were at it. It just doesn’t make sense to me

Did he change it because when I looked it showed the falcons as 32 and Denver at 31. He is still a fool but he didn’t list the Broncos dead last.

As much as I love the draft and all the stuff leading up to, I loathe draft rankings and grades. Worse than pointless. Where all of these players got drafted is completely pointless now.

All of these day after draft grades are stupid. Doesn’t matter if we get an A+ or an F. They don’t mean stit. We won’t be able to tell for about 2 years, so all of these are just nonsense.

Yep that Nix pick will define this draft. He was taking way too high with what we know but nobody will care if Payton is right and the public prognosticators giving him 2nd round grades are wrong

Seems like a lot of people got all worked up that we took QB6 at 12 when we could have taken Edge 1 or CB1 or traded back. Isn’t doing just that in 2018 (Edge 1 over QB3 at 5), why were still a mess and burned all our draft picks in the process. Some people just read too many mocks that told them Nix is a 2nd, when reality is that teams had these QBs much higher. If we had traded back, we’re looking at Zach Wilson being our QB next season, and thats going to excite nobody.

At first, I didn’t really like the Bo Nix draft pick. I thought we could have traded down some (later teens early 20s) and nabbed a possible very early second round or later first round if we could and still grab him.
Looking at the present, I realize that the Falcons pretty much fucked everything up in this draft for QBs by taking Penix at number 8. Penix was expected to go AFTER JJ and the other 3 “Top” QBs, right in line with Bo.
After Bo, there was a clear gap in talent to Spencer Rattler, which was the next QB to go all the way in Round 5. When Spencer Rattler went in Round 5, I knew firsthand that the Broncos made the right move.
The office had to decide to lose out on a very capable player that can transform into a good QB in Bo Nix, or risk giving the reigns to Zach Wilson, which didn’t have much success with a pretty stacked Jets O-Line. Whether Zach Wilson rebounds or not, The better play is to have multiple GOOD QBs that can develop, and not put it in the hands of one.
