I’ve been a critic of Ron but with the caveat that I want him to succeed and prove me wrong (not that he should give a shit what I think). I like what he’s doing so far. There are roster issues for certain but the coaching staff definitely wasn’t getting it done.

I’m fine with Hakstol being fired. I’m glad to see McFarland gone. That stagnant, aimless power play was allowed to go on for far too long. And when he did finally draw up a new play, they’d spam it to death (Tolvanen one timer, that jam play from the side of the net).
Please give us a PP coach that knows how to use more than one look at a time.
