  1. Admittedly I’d hoped to keep both teams on the Missouri side, however irrational that might be. Call me sentimental. Not to say that that can’t still happen. Saw that if this vote passes, would give teams until summer 2025 to decide?

    Very minimum positive takeaways as I understand them:

    – Moves up the timeline for decision-making for all involved parties
    – More likely that teams will stay in KC metro (to me, if both teams turn down KS proposal, they were never going to stay here)

  2. I’m rooting for the Chiefs to land in KS and then the Royals fan out together a better plan with the city that can have them be the sole focus and get a good downtown stadium plan approved.

    I just worry whether voters will approve two separate measures to keep Chiefs & Royals in KCMO and I want the path of least resistance for the Royals to get figured out.

    Also it makes more sense for Kansas to find the Chiefs as they buy way more tickets and most of the upgrades at a renovated or new stadium are targeting the KS side fans.
