I kind of wish they had some kind of special teams focused events at the combine. Like that sideline practice net they kick into but with sensors to measure power or just see who can bash that shit the farthest, and so on.
It would be entertaining at least.
That team? The Indiana Fever.
But I was told Taylor was a massive reach and that we were stupid for taking a punter in the 4th?
This is a great interview, Taylor is hilarious.
I am normally against drafting punters early but this is absolutely an exception. Dudes the best, he wanted to come here, we wanted him, we had no remaining picks at the time so it was now or never. Just a good fit all around and makes sense.
The culture that big pole poles is building is awesome. Dudes who love ball, dudes from IL that love the bears, and dawgs that want to win.
I feel like as long as he’s decent at his job, he’s going to become an instant fan favorite. He seems super down to earth with a good sense of humor.
