  1. The brewers are so fucking miserable, they have the offense of a soccer team, they dick around all game and it’s the most boring game you’ve ever seen, just crawling along, then for about 10 seconds they stab you in the heart with a dagger, then just back to monotonous nothing baseball. fucking awful. hope they disband before next year, jesus fucking christ

  2. THIS WIN FELT SO FUCKING GOOD!

Four steals in an inning. Hahahaha. Greg was really helpful keeping Alzolay in.

WIN #20. Let’s Go Brewers and Fuck the Cubs!!!

  3. What a beautiful, immaculate CC loss. Overthinking your bullpen like crazy and taking out players who are pitching well just to play matchups and watch them get smoked.

Feels amazing when you’re on the other side!

  4. I don’t know you. I don’t know your story, your background, what you do for a living, and, yet, I do know you. I know how your eyes lit up the first time you walked into County Stadium. I know how as a kid you dreamed of being Robin Yount. You wanted nothing more than one day to wear that Brewers script across your chest. I know that every summer you stay up late listening to Mr. Baseball on the radio. I know that you’ll never forget October 10th, 1982; September 28th, 2008; or October 7th, 2011. I know you because I am you. You and me, we’re cut from the same cloth. This isn’t something we chose. It’s not a bandwagon we jumped on when it was convenient. It’s something we were born into. A piece of our identity passed down from the generations before. Just like you, I was born a Brewer. This is my first love, my passion, my responsibility. It’s a torch I’ll carry with me always. Through the ups and the downs, the good times and the bad, no matter what, this will always be my team. Brewers baseball, it’s part of who I am. It’s part of who we are.

These are words you once said and I truly thought you meant them, Greg. Maybe you did. But this has been hate fire fuel since the offseason. Enjoy the loss. Fly the L. FTC. FCC.

  5. FAN FAVORITE MIDDLE INFIELD BREWERS LEGEND MANAGING GOD VS. SOME GUY NAMED CRAIG

  6. Poor Haase was flown  in just to be told “On second thought, we’re good.”

  8. Man, if we can go on a run this month we could finally get some separation from the rest of the division.

    Let’s do this again tomorrow!

  9. I think it’s safe to say the gameplan for this series should be getting to their bullpen lol

  10. One of the best wins of the year tbh.  Not the sexiest game. But an absolute clinic on small ball.

  11. With this win the worse it can be is a tie for the division lead now after the series. Weeks is an animal sending guys to steal bases like that which helped secure the win with timely hitting. All those hard hit balls got nothing but those little soft hits fell.

Feels for Ross not getting the win today he pitched well.

  12. That was just great. First of all, any win against the Cubs is.

But this had a great outing by Joe Ross. He looked real nasty, and I always felt he was so close to being really good. Today he showed it. Brewers know what they’re doing when they make those early signings of struggling pitchers; they saw his stuff, his increased sinker velo after coming back. Or w/e it was, either way they had faith in him for a reason.

And then stealing 2nd 4 times in one inning. 3 of them ending up scoring on singles. If that doesn’t encapsulate what this team does then I don’t know what does.

Megill is filthy. Of course we miss Devin Williams, but the backend of the bullpen is fine even without him.

And some solid defense all around. Perkins throwing out Amaya by a comical margin there was particularly great.

    And of course, FTC.

  13. Glad we got that first game, a solid effort all around and zero fuckery like a normal baseball game. 10/10 would win again.

  14. That’s real satisfying. This team is ripping apart at the seams and they just will not die. I don’t even care what their record ends up being or how they finish, this is a group that makes being a baseball fan fun.

  15. No, Cubs, Nooooo!

    No, Cubs, NoOOoo!

Hey Chicago, what do you say?

    Counsell blew the game today!

    No, Cubs, Nooooo!

    No, Cubs, NoOOoo!

Hey Chicago, what do you say?

Crew’s base stealers have their way!

  16. One of the best parts of all of this, is that we won’t have to listen to that absolutely painful Greg press conference, where he hems and haws thru the whole thing, and essentially says nothing meaningful.
