Sign Zuck, let Sherwood, Barrie and Carrier walk. Shop for some good deals on UFA’s. Call some young guys up to fill any other holes. Lanky depends on what they want the goalie situation to look like but I like him for $2m.
With that much cap space without IR cheating, you definitely massively outperformed.
I really wanna see Tomasino, Afanasyev, Livingstone, and Askarov get called up.
I’m still all for Saros here, but I think it would be foolish to not at least have Askarov up next year. If we have an elite goalie in the pipeline we should at least do our due diligence.
With Askarov playing well in the AHL, do we let Lanky walk and have Askarov backup and ease him into it like Saros got with Pekka?
I hope Askarov gets pulled up, I’m excited to see a lot more of Stasney. Glad we have Mcdonagh, RoR, and Nyquist for awhile. Hope we can re-sign Zucker. Pull up a couple of younger guys to get more experience. Let Fabbro walk. I’d love to keep Carrier. Glad we have Vange on a RFA contract for another year. Let’s gooooo. Think we’ll be better next year and with Askarov it will be even more entertaining.
That was as close of a series as I’ve ever seen in spite of it not making it to 7 games, doesnt matter. Every game was won by a hair. Excited to see what Trotz does this next season
