Starting to finally look like a team. Only took six weeks.
this is NOT good for my heart, man. but you already know i cant stop watching
Whatever we changed, I am all for it
Altuve MVP when?
On pace for 61 wins.
Better than when that number was in the mid-40’s
So that’s what it’s like to catch all the breaks. Incredible clutch win!
PUT AWAY THAT TRIDENT BOIS
LISTEN.
Minute Maid Park is sold out this weekend. We’re playing the Mariners. This stadium, that staff, they’re not used to a full house. They can’t kick us all out. All I’m saying is, make the Mariners miserable. Be ruthless. Push the limit. No one’s gonna stop you. Let ’em know.
Oh God, oh shit, Hope!
Two series win in a row and we beat the mariners? We are so back
Heart attack Hader shutting it down! Don’t ever do that ever again
Were locked in right now. The defense was stellar tonight. Baserunning is stellar atm. The offense is clicking, and we are back to letting the other team make mistakes and taking advantage of them. Im excited.
Now that looked like the Astros that I’ve been used to seeing

How The Astros Got Their Groove Back.
Really strange game with the difference being the run scored on the throwing error and the RBI BB. But we’ll take it. Blanco did well. Clutch hitting seems to be improving. I really, really need Hader to find his command, though.
The road to .500 continues. This team is coming alive one game at a time.
It sounds ridiculous to think we’re only 5 games out of first.
Team looks better with no supermassive black holes in the lineup. Keep it rolling let’s gooo
“I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Watching the asstros win is like seeing your high school bully grow up to be a huge success in life.” had to be my favorite comment from the mariners thread LMAOOOO
Watching Diaz complete that double play is gold, that highlight will see a lot of replays.
I like how Yainer gave Hader the game ball, like this one meant a little more than usual.
It honestly feels nice to steal wins like this. Obviously had to make it interesting, because 2024 Astros baseball isn’t complete without a bit of stress, but this is definitely a different team from two weeks ago.
On another note, I was stalking arr Mariners (mostly to see their reaction to the TOOTBLAN), and I saw a post there talking about a conversation Dave Sims (their TV commentator) had with Dusty about the 2022 ALDS
Dusty basically said that we were more afraid of Seattle than anyone, and Sims replied with “we had your asses”, and Dusty replied with “yeah, and you let us go”.
Amazing lmao.
