  1. Somebody show this to Mike. 40+ pt game 1 guaranteed. Stunt on these hoes, champ.

  2. I never really appreciated that he could have been a generational talent. He doesn’t move with a fraction of the quickness he used to but still is a top half player in the league.

  3. This man is still extremely underappreciated by people. When people think of MPJ they just think about how he “never swings the rock” or that he’s dumb or some bullshit like that. But what they don’t think about is all the work he’s done to help this basketball team. Coming back from 3 back surgeries, the world doubting him, intrusive inner thoughts, playing games with drop foot and his brace…. just to get on the court.

And then when he was on the court, he’d have one of the shortest leashes I’ve seen a young player get here. Didn’t get many shots, asked to transform his game from “go-to scorer” to “role playing shooter”, yanked quick and early for mistakes, etc. And instead of hanging his head or forcing his way out like Nurk/Bones, this man worked his ass off to become a legit all-around player as well as one of the deadliest shooters in the entire NBA.

Honestly just a super inspiring career arc that I’ll remember for the rest of my life. Especially when things gets tough. Fucking love you MPJ

  4. Dude so inspiring. Thanks for making this video! I hope they repeat this year.

  5. I know Coach Malone has always been criticized for how he treated MPJ. But, in reality and in hindsight maybe he should be given some credit for helping him develop into the player he is now. Give MPJ 99% though. Hes become a more complete player than I thought possible. Love him and the rest of this team.

  6. Didn’t include my favorite play from this last lakers’ series: MPJ diving on the floor for a loose ball.
