Wow!

I knew Arraez was currently the closest we have to Tony playing right now, but it’s CRAZY how similar their first 5 years were.

  1. Death by a thousand singles. The way of the 2024 Padres. just how Tony would have liked it.

  2. I hope for Arraez to maintain his level of pure hitting success. If only for Tony Gwynn Jr. I want him to feel like he’s watching his dad play all over again. It would make me remarkably happy.

  3. Now do fielding. I joke. I’m so jacked to see this guy in brown and gold.

  4. Y’all need to calm the fuck down.

I’m happy we got Arraez too, but let’s let him breathe a little.

  5. Arraez is similar as a hitter to early Gwynn, but lets not forget that Tony was a Gold Glove outfielder stealing 50 bags. I love Arraez, but I think Tony is underrated by looking at only his hitting stats.
