  1. It’s nice to get a win for sure but that didn’t inspire a ton of confidence. Scored a lot of our runs with the help of bad defense, didn’t add on when they had they had a chance in the 2nd and the 7th, let the opposing starter get in a groove instead of chasing him when they had a chance. Vladdy continues to hit the ball hard but I’d really love if he got the ball in the air. Davis should be an every day starter either in LF or at 2n. Gaus is a stud though.

  2. Controversial take but I’d totally be ok with Vogelbach sitting and having Schneider in the lineup

  3. Plays of the game:

    * KK hitting a bomb
    * Gausman pitching a gem
    * Varsho forever scampering
    * Bo Bichette walking away from an ejection like the ump was beneath him

  4. a win is a win is a win, but it was a slightly embarrassing game for both teams today

  5. Kiermaier is a fuckin class act. I know he can’t stay for long but I love him in the clubhouse

  6. Had to miss the game cause doing renovations at home. Glad to see the boys did well ! Bichette ejected !? Vogelbach 0-5.. Kk HR !? Cant wait for tomorrow!

  7. Honestly, the worst part about playing Vogelbach is that he necessitates either; Turner sitting, Vladdy sitting, or Turner fielding 3B.

    So while Vogelbach vs Schneider might be better on a certain day due to match-ups or whatever, but it also means that they are taking a hit somewhere else which offsets that positive.

    Treat Voggy like the 26th man he is, only plays when a player needs a full rest day or when he comes in to PH, rather than trying to find matchups to give him a start

  8. I’ll be honest, I’m completely fine with Bo getting ejected. I actually love to see it. I love to see some fire in him like that. He knows he’s struggling, he’ll turn it around. It’s nice to see him show some on field emotion.

  9. Thank God Davis Schneider got some rest so he could watch Vogelbach and Biggio ‘play’.

  10. Didn’t get to watch anything but the first inning but the baseball kinds were much kinder today. Good on KK for the dong, hope to see him not be terrible at the plate like he was.

  11. Can anyone explain why Jansen is always batting in the middle/toward the bottom of the lineup? Dude is absolutely raking.

  12. Can we start trading/demoting/releasing people now please? Any real team would’ve run up double digits if they were playing against a defense that gave up four errors

  13. I’m no baseball expert. So tell me, what is the point of Vogelbach? What is John Schneider trying to accomplish by having him in the team? Educate me please, because I don’t understand.

  14. DANNY 👏 JANSEN 👏 SHOULD 👏 BE 👏 HITTING 👏 THIRD 👏
