  1. Last year it was a strength with this team. You never know with bullpens from year to year.

  2. To be fair, the whole team has been a dumpster fire apart from 4 starting pitchers, JT, and Jano.

  3. Thats why more needed to be done to boost the offense this winter. You cant rely on a nails pen and rotation every year without some injuries and regression.

  4. MLB.com said it was top 10

Just shows you how bad their lists really are

  5. Thought they were going to blow it in the 9th, nothing is easy for the Jays this year. My guess is 81 wins

  6. Had to do a double take when I saw those numbers, I’ve been identifying this team as one that gets it done with pitching and defense. But I guess we haven’t really been getting it done lately so it makes sense.

  7. Without Yimi Garcia or Trevor Richards being expected to pitch like superman. This bullpen right now has no one else worth pitching.

Romano had a 3 ERA, and then you realized he has a 5 FIP and has looked shaky all year. No one trustworthy there at all.

  8. Yeah but we make up for it in offence and don’t worry about pitching cos Manoah is getting a start tomorrow.

  9. If only they could just put Yimi in for the last 3 innings of every game.

  10. 1. Bullpens are voodoo
    2. Romano and Swanson had a limited spring training
    3. Chad Green injury
    4. Overused when Gausman and Bassett struggled
    5. Terrible high leverage management

  11. Quick, let’s get some Atkins truthers in here to tell us all that this doesn’t matter because of some obscure stat about how great the team defence is.

That will surely take the edge off.

  12. Im surprised where we are in standing we should have been what 5- 30 or something like that…

  13. The Jays are brutal is a more accurate statement to start this year.

  14. Good thing we got these new expensive seats and upgrades to the stadium. Easier watching them lose at a better angles.
