Meet US National Sled team member Malik Jones
my name is Malik Jones I am on the par National sled hockey team I was born without tibias in both legs they amputated my legs at 10 months old ever since then I’ve been uh using Prosthetics my grandmother she found a local sled program down in Littleton Colorado I was a athlete at heart I fell in love they got me into a sled I got all equipment for me and just went out there and just had fun you know I loved it ever since we have a sled that we sit in and that’s how we move ourselves Propel ourselves around the ice takes a lot of of our body strength when I started playing sled hockey I learned that it was a paral Olympic sport and that was my athletic dreams it means a lot just to represent you know the africanamerican community try to keep going the game try to keep getting more people like me that look like me w w
