God damn I love and miss the Big Rig.
Also easy enough for Patty to say calm down cus he probably knew he wasn’t touching the ice under a few minutes left in game 7 😉
My Aunt lives right around the corner from Oakville H.S. and every time I drive past there I think of Patty

“Hey should we resign Maroon? He’s a big bruiser which is right for Berube’s style, he scored the game winner in overtime in game 7, he’s a local hero and he’s cheap.”
“Nah, I don’t see him fitting in here. I want to concentrate on signing Justin Faulk so we can dump Pietrangelo.”
(Maroon goes on to lift the cup multiple times for other clubs, Pietrangelo leads an expansion team to a cup)
I really hope Maroon ends up working for the Blues in some capacity after his playing career is over.
