Fuck everyone else. Idgaf about “ref help.” Knicks and Knicks fans were butt of every joke since the turn of the millennium with all the shit that’s happened here. Now it’s swung back, and everyone hates but they can suck it.
It really sucks that bad officiating once again overshadows everything. Jalen Brunson is literally putting up numbers we haven’t seen since Michael Jordan. That’s so fucking crazy.
This was a close game that went down to the wire and either team could’ve won regardless of what happened with the officials. And the Knicks won. Again. Now we have to deal with another “makeup” game by the officials on Wednesday. Fucking great.
So what happened to Tyrese Haliburton? Fred Katz was proposing that the Knicks put OG on him. I’m glad they didn’t because that would just take away our best defender and encourage Haliburton to pass which is what he wants to do anyway.
I am worried about the Knicks short rotation. That Bogdanovic injury really hurts. I still can’t stop thinking about that Grimes trade. I know it’s supposed to be setting them up financially and they had to move on from Fournier but damn, this is bad and I wish they didn’t make that trade. These games are not as close if they had some help off the bench. Not just because of the scoring output they’re missing but I think fatigue is playing a factor. The last several games against Philly and this last game against Indiana they’ve had leads and have struggled to close out. Every game is coming down to the final possession. I know Thibs isn’t going to do it but he really needs to think about giving Burks some run. It probably won’t do anything good but got to try something, right?
Knicks down 1-0 in moral victories this series. 😞😞😞😞😞
I’m a sad, though not all together surprised, that all the talk this morning is about the officiating. They were about to faint over it on Get Up. I think Jay Williams’ head might really explode.
