Gorman sitting against a lefty again. I get he’s ass now and sitting him is fine, but don’t freaking platoon him. He doesn’t have career platoon splits and this seems like a fine way to help him develop platoon splits and ruin his development. If he’s not going to play, put him in AAA. Stop sacrificing our prospects at the altar of desperately trying to make the wild card.

How bad is the roster when the .232 average and .650 OPS backup catcher is the best option to DH? Not only DH, but hitting cleanup. We don’t have anyone in St. Louis or Memphis that can do better than that at DH?
