  1. Gorman sitting against a lefty again. I get he’s ass now and sitting him is fine, but don’t freaking platoon him. He doesn’t have career platoon splits and this seems like a fine way to help him develop platoon splits and ruin his development. If he’s not going to play, put him in AAA. Stop sacrificing our prospects at the altar of desperately trying to make the wild card.

  2. Came in from the East coast to get great tickets for todays game. With the looming weather and the state of the team I’m not having a peachy time right now

  3. I’m unclear where the runs are going to come from with this lineup, which probably means they’ll score 9 runs today.

  4. Lineup without a single guy slugging even 400. Dear God this is going to a long season…

  5. I’m sad about Contreras. He was a bright spot in a dismal lineup and I loved his fire.

  6. Well at least after a day time loss you can go and enjoy family time this evening and fall asleep happy.

  7. How bad is the roster when the .232 average and .650 OPS backup catcher is the best option to DH? Not only DH, but hitting cleanup. We don’t have anyone in St. Louis or Memphis that can do better than that at DH?

  8. 6-8 weeks for contreras is a lot shorter than I was expecting. I cringed when I saw the video of him getting hit, it looked bad.
