  1. **WE’RE JUST BETTER (barely)! GET FUCKED AJ HINCH! GET YOUR CHEATING, BITCH ASS OUT OF CLEVELAND!**

  2. Positives from today’s Cleveland (minor league) baseball:

    #WELCOME HOME KYLE MANZARDO

Nothing like the back up catcher duo of 🍟 and 🐷 doing their best to take us to the promised land. The offense gets 5 runs off of 5 hits, 2 walks, a Rocchio stolen base, and 2 Detroit errors. Some genuine small ball and a hit from Hedgey along with nonsense ball from Gimmy get the first 3 runs across, and Fry goes deep to get us to extras. A PERFECT 🆓 bunt and a Rocchio single take us to the W!!!

Bullpen shines today, with the combined effort of Hentges(1.2IP), Sandlin(1.1IP), Gaddis(2.0IP) and Clase(1IP) adding up to 6IP, 2H, 0R, 0BB, and 4K, an excellent performance. lol Baèz.

Daniel Schneeman is on one heck of a tear, helping lead CBus to a 6-5 victory yesterday with a 3/5 day that included another double and raised his average to .291 on the year. Jhonk goes deep, also having a 3/5 day with a homer, a double, and 4 RBI. Tena ALSO goes 3/5 and now holds a 6 game hitting streak. Wes Parsons started and went 3.2IP, 3H, 1R, 2BB, and 4K on 62 pitches.

CBus has a day game today as well… wait, the entire farm system does? Shit. Speed run highlights- Schneeman(lol) goes 3/5 with three doubles, and J.Rod goes 2/5 with 2 RBI. Kahlil Watson and Connor Kokx each hit a double for Akron, while Joe Lampe hits two. Aaron Davenport(AA) goes 6IP, 4H, 1R, 1BB, and 6K on 88 pitches, and lowers his ERA to 2.01 on the year.

Part 2 (minor leagues yay)- Alex Mooney leads LC with a 3/5 day including a homer, double, and 2 stolen bases. Carter Spivey starts and goes 6IP, 3H, 1R, 3BB, and 6K on 89 pitches, and gets followed by a 3 man bullpen combining for 3IP, 1H, 0R, 1BB, and 4K. Gonzalez, Velazquez, Genao, and Chourio, Lynchburg’s 1-4, all go 3/5, with Gonzalez getting a homer and a double.

Edited because Schneeman just keeps hitting doubles and I need to keep updating it lmao

  3. How the heck did Javy get thrown out at 2nd on a FC? Hoping to see a replay of it sometime.

  4. Last few innings had me gritting my teeth. Had my doubts, but that was a solid comeback W!

  5. Wasn’t David Fry the PTBNL we got for JC Mejia or something? What a deal.

  6. Yesterday we lost one we probably “should’ve” won

Today we win one we probably “should’ve” lost

Positivity is back on the table 👍

  7. I could smell the Guardiac Kids comeback when Gimmy scored that run. Something in me felt it happening.

I think Bibee got caught off rhythm on that annoying Ibanez AB and then the wheels kinda fell off from there

Nice to see Kyle get that first hit and I hope it means that he’ll settle in now

Also: Emmanuel Clase, Brayan Rocchio, David Fry, and Sam Hentges

  8. Place: 1st

    Division lead: 3.0

    Games to play: 125

    Magic number: 124

    BONUS STATS

David Fry home run xBA: .100

Guardians’ chances of winning at moment of home run: 10.9%

  9. Solid way to end this series!

Best way to stay on top of the division is to beat the division.

  10. Big comeback win to take the series.

David Fry needs to be a staple in the lineup.

  11. #IT’S OK CEDAR POINT WASN’T OPEN TODAY BECAUSE THE EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER THAT WAS THIS GAME ENDED WELL!

  12. Stole that game and it feels so good, glad I watched right to the end

  13. With how the division has performed lately, this was a pretty huge must have win.

Onto Chicago to shit all over the White Sox.

  14. Damn if you were in the game thread midway through this one you’d think the Guards were the worst team in baseball

  15. Ugly, but a W is a W. Sidenote if we’re going to attempt to make a playoff push we really need to get our starting pitching sorted out sometime soon.

  16. That sequence of events in the bottom of the 10th is why baseball is a beautiful game sometimes.

  17. These boys never give up! 2022 Guards are back, Hedgey and Vogt have this club going good. Side note, I love punishing lazy frauds like Hinch and Baez with walkoffs

  18. This team doesn’t quit, I will give them that. I think it’s their number one quality

  19. Just watched the end of the Clippers game. Whoever this Cedrola dude is pitching for them needs to go immediately.

Just walked the game tying and game losing runs on 8/9 balls in the ABs. Dude was throwing 65 MPH pitches that looked like intentional walks.

  20. If anyone asks, I was at work today.

Last year I saw Bo’s first hit. This year I saw Manzardo’s. Fry is great. I want a Rocchio shirt with him dressed as Rufio from hook.

  21. It’s amazing to me, right now, we have what I consider four bonafide major league hitters in the lineup on a daily basis. Gimenez, Jose, Josh Naylor and Kwan (hurt). Yet the Guards are in 1st place. Every day, it seems like some other guy, who isn’t hitting great comes through. It’s great to see. Fry needs to play more.

  22. Clase gets screwed with the L in Manfred innings too often so I’m glad he can pick up a W here.

  23. Goddamnit I forgot it was an early game today.

    Oh well, go guards
