I just wanted to extend a very sincere thanks to this entire sub for helping me get through the loss of my dog — Oatmeal.

We gotta win one next year for Oatmeal for sure.
Your og thread was my most visited thread that year, since I was showing that to my friends telling how many people here adopted her as our unofficial mascotte, how you were posting her pics before every game and how we started commenting “for oatmeal” or things like that in game threads.
One year ago I lost my Kiba (watched a lot of games with her, the last one the night before she died) and even if there’s Yuki watching games with me now (well not many actually, she’s been here for 2 weeks now) I still miss Kiba and get sad randomly thinking about her.
Dogs are are like family members, it’s really hard to accept their departure and probably we’ll remember them forever but I’m really glad to read you are doing well. I send you a hug.
